Funny this thread came up, had the same issues with Costa. They have been my go to glasses for fishing for many years. Recently purchased a pair of Maui Jims with built in 2.5 Readers. So far they are top dog. The humidity is about to crank up so we will see.
Go with a 7 to 7.4, sounds like you want a little versatility. You can slow this down or speed it up and be in the ball park of a 5-6 or 8 gear ratio reel
I own my own business. My first rule of thumb, I shop locally as much as I can no matter what the price. Saving a couple dollars on something will not go as far as helping a fellow business owner. Number 2, I use the internet only when I can't find what I want. We have a few really nice Tackle shops around my home and I buy as much gear from them as I can. Come to find out, several of their employees utilize my services.
So If I catch a whopper bass and want a master grade replica mount of the the fish, I am looking at something north of $800 to $1200.

I just asked the question because couldn't find a price list on any of the websites I was checking out. Most taxidermy websites will tell you, cougar mount is $4800, Elk mount $1200, Deer head $575.
I've looked through the websites of some replica painters, is it me or is it just hard to find a price list? Lets put some real world numbers down. A largemouth 24 inches in length and 16 inches in girth, What's the cost?
