  1. I’ve been wanting to try them. Was pumped they had some.
  2. Little trip to kittery trading post this morning. Love that place.
  3. Where do we find these new videos.
  4. Bought one, caught a bunch one afternoon. Ran out and bought 3 more. Haven’t caught a fish on them since. No lol
  5. 30 pound braid, with a mod fast rod.
  6. I don’t have those rods, but I have a falcon expert that’s labeled as a heavy mod fast. It’s so crisp and sensitive you wouldn’t know it’s a mod fast until you put it under load. I also saw where matt Allen said that rod was always labeled as a mod fast on shimanos site. I’ve seen quite a few rods labeled as different actions from one tackle shop to the next. It’s a nightmare. In my opinion the combination of sensitivity, backbone and a little more bend to it, is pretty sweet.
  7. Interesting colors on those spro baits.
  8. Sometimes I take a bunch of fish pics. Just so I can send them to my girlfriend as I catch and take them. Because she could care less and it drives her crazy. I also get a colorful response when I tell her I m about to send her pics of a bunch of dinks.
  9. Rage craw t rigged with a sixteenth ounce bullet weight on a 3/0 hook. Always gets atleast on. also a spinnerbait always gets atleast one.
  10. Go to bps and get the carbonlite 2.0 currado k combo for $269. You can pic whatever length and power rod you want. That rod is light, plenty sensitive and super versatile. You’re basically paying $90 for that rod. You really can’t go wrong with that combo. It can do allot of stuff really well.
  11. You guys beat me to it. All my favorites get a proper burial at sea.
  12. Good for you. you sir are one hell of a trigger puller
  13. The currado can be used in the salt.
  14. Falcon expert and cara also in that $ amount. I have one of each. They are bothe great. I have the head turner in the expert and the eye crosser in Cara. Both are light sensitive and in my opinion very versatile. I just finally got a hold of a expride also. I have no doubt if you ask me again in a couple months it will be on that list as well.
  15. Don’t really have any small local shops. Wished we did, I would much rather support them. Kittery trading post wins around here. They have a better selection of rods, reels and way cooler baits then the local bass pro or cabellas. I say local but they are all about 45 minutes to a hour from me. I don’t mind though, it’s something to do on a cold Saturday.
  16. I fish from the bank. So when I walk up to the spot I’m gonna fish. I start with pitching whatever finessier bait I’m using that day at the shoreline and whatever close cover I can see. I do that Before I run a spinnerbait or more aggressive bait through the immediate area. That helps to pick off any fish that are up tight to the shore line as opposed to possibly chasing them off.
  17. Living rubber jigs from seiberts came in. Trying a few new colors also. Finally got my hands on some cut r worms. Nice stuff as always. With this order I should have enough jigs for a while.
  18. 3/8’s seiberts arky jig in green pumpkin purple. With a rage craw in moon juice. I caught probably 20+ bass with that one before I lost it. Was a bummer.
  19. It also might be the type of flouro your using. I don’t use it so I have no real experience with it, but I have read enough posts on here to gather that much anyway. Get some kvd line conditioners. That should help a bit and make sure you don’t have to much line on it. That also makes things a little more difficult. If you’re brand new to casting reels I would put 3 brakes on inside and put the outside dial somewhere in the middle. Tie on a 3/8’s weight and just go outside and practice. A couple of half hour sessions and you’ll be plenty good enough to have fun fishing. Also if the spool has fluffed up on you a few times already it might be a good idea to go somewhere and tie off the line to something and walk out a bunch of line and reel it back up tight.
  20. Great memories, thanks for sharing.
