Last year I got my grandson the Ike dude rod. They have them at at BPS and Walmart, there is a spin cast model that comes in 5’6” mf it’s more mod fast though, I find it’s a great size rod for that age/size kid. The real is junk, I got rid of it and put the heavier duty zebco bullet on it. The $40 metal one. You could throw a small casting reel on it. I’ve thought about throwing a slx on it for small poppers. Last year I got my grandson the Ike dude rod. The expert version has a heavier top weight and is quite a bit stiffer. Has a different name also. When I called falcon the gentleman on the phone told me it’s a completely different rod. The amistad must be pretty sweet.

Right now, it’s the falcon Cara 6’11” heavy. It’s my jig and big paddle tail rod.

Siebert outdoors. Nope,rage craws and menace mostly. I already use them t rigged a lot. Trying to keep my 50 pounds of plastics at 50 pounds lol. This is good stuff right here.

A couple more good jig bites and you’ll find yourself rubbing your fingers together and smiling over a table like this.

It’s a talk about basic human decency and fourth grade manners that just aren’t thought anymore. what a shame. The hole country could use a lesson in 4rth grade manners. Where the 40% off Dobyns rods was from. I believe it was spring of 2020. I thought it was *** fishing. my buddy broke the tip off his 795 moving last week. He’s looking to use the upgrade program they have. He’s gonna call them. Just trying to help figure out where we got them to make it easier to find the receipt. Thanks if anyone remembers.

I can agree with allot of the different points of view here. Here’s another one. At what point does all of us always being the better man and not saying anything and walking away, just enabling rude and ignorant people to continue being rude and ignorant. I believe that itself is a small piece of the problem these days. There’s just no accountability for anyone’s actions anymore. You should definitely take a good look at the Cara finesse jig rod. From reading your posts that rod should be right up your ally, and right in that price point. Throw a currado 150 mgl on it. You’ll be one happy fella.

I’ve been thinking about a finesse setup for a little while just for the fun of it. Nothing crazy lite or anything maybe Ned rigs or meps spinners. You’re posts are certainly helping me along.

I’ve had my eye on that rod. For finess jigs and 1/8 t rigs. With a rage craw or something similar

Maybe just a upgrade of whatever your favorite technic is.
