  1. It’s killing me I bought them two winters ago forgot and never used them.
  2. Wow I bought two slammers a couple winters ago. Completely forgot about them until I read this post. Unbelievable, thanks for mentioning them. Time to start digging.
  3. I live in mass. Started throwing 6”/7” baits here and there 2 years ago I think. The number of 3 to 4 pounders I catch certainly went up. I say grab a couple of the shelf baits you can throw on something you have now and give it a shot.
  4. Grabbed a couple of those myself. What are you gonna throw them on. Might finally be my excuse to grab a dc 706 cb
  5. 1/8-3/16th tungsten and a rage craw same weight with a cut r worm falcon Cara finesse jig rod currado 150 mgl 30# power pro
  6. My hands down favorite t rig set up 8” bull worm in moon juice color. 1/4 oz tungsten 5/0 straight shank worm hook falcon Cara eye crosser currado 200 k with 50# power pro they pick it up and run then I wack em. It’s an agreement we have lol. I’m getting excited just thinking about it. Love it.
  7. That’s pretty much what I figured thanks. I wish it was enough for the grocery store lol
  8. I have a visa gift card laying around. Tried to make my first ever order from them. Says card can’t be processed. Curious if anyone had successfully used one
  9. That color just seems to work all the time.
  10. Good stuff guys. Real nice.
  11. I have a tranx 300 on the rod I use for the spro Chad Shad and other similar sized baits. If I were to redo that set up, I would just get another currado k 200.
  12. Probably a just my preference but I like my Cara’s more then my exprides. Don’t know for sure if there more sensitive or not.
  13. I have three of the 2.0’s I like them. Wouldn’t mind trying out one of the new ones.
  14. I still adjust it on mine. It’s just a touch tighter then how I would normally set it.
  15. I’ll also add with mine I had to tighten up the cast control just a little more then I normally would.

    RATS!

They are a fun bait and they catch fish. Careful they make you want more expensive rats.
  17. I use the 4”x9” Plano box. Modified with my Dremel. Fits in my back pocket a bag of assorted soft plastics in my front pocket and pliers in my other back pocket. 1-3 rods this usually gives me up to 9 bait choices. That’s more than I end up needing. But it’s nice to pack light and have some options.
  18. I have the seirra 691. It’s a fun rod. Only thrown Ned’s and pond magic spinnerbaits with it so far. Catching fish on the small spinnerbaits is a ton of fun. My favorite so far.
  19. I can’t tie up a jerkbait without it getting caught up in the line my shirt or the bush next me while standing on the bank. Regardless of the knot. Getting stressed out just thinking about it.
  20. My father taught me to tie the improved clinch knot when I was a kid. He called it the fisherman’s knot, not sure if that’s accurate. I can tie it with my eyes closed. I firmly believe the knot you can tie properly is the best one to use. I don’t think it’s ever broke.
  21. Looks like the zaldain bait might replace the magdraft for me this year. Definitely worth trying out. I would love to be able to retrieve at different speeds.
  22. That’s a cool bait. I could see using that.
  23. I fish from the bank. I find 6’10” rods to be a very happy medium for where I fish.
