  1. Looking for 4 Dobyns Fury Casting rod combinations for: Spinner baits Bladded jigs Squarebill Crankbaits Lipless-Crankbaits Jerk-Baits Poppers Walking baits Frogs Whopper Plopper Buzz Baits Horny Toads
  2. I am 20 years old, and I have passionately bass fished for about 10 years now. I have always wanted to join a club as a co-angler to fish tournaments, and gain more knowledge on bass fishing. I do not know many other people who have a bass fishing passion as much as myself, therefore I do not have any contacts to join a local club. If anyone is in a Southern Maryland club, and has room for a co-angler please let me know! I’d be more than happy to join to fish tournaments, and gain more knowledge on bass fishing. Thanks.
  3. Looking to get 4 technique specific rods from Dobyns Rods. I’m considering the Fury series, along with the Sierra series. The Sierra series are a little higher in price than the Fury, but are they worth the extra money? I have never owned a Dobyns rod but they seem to be tending now a days. Please let me know what you all think.
  4. Looking to get a new casting reel for frogs, poppers, and buzzbaits on 40lb braid. Considering Shimano Curado K, Casitas, Abu Garcia Revo X Gen4 or Daiwa Tatula CT in a 7speed. Does anyone have suggestions on these reels?
  5. So a fast action rod would be better to use with a bait like a whopper plopper with treble hooks? Rather than a mod-fast action?
  6. Looking to get a rod ($100-$150) for Whopper Ploppers, Buzz baits, and Frogs. I will be using baits in a variety of sizes and braided line. Any suggestions?
  7. I want to set up 5 of my baitcast rod/reels to be technique specific. I am having a hard time deciding which reels I should use for these baits: Texas rigs, jigs, whopper plopers, buzz baits, poppers, spinner baits, chatter baits, small/medium sized swimbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits, and lipless crankbaits. The following reels I have are: shimano curado k 7.4.1 shimano casitas 7.2.1 shimano curado k 6.2.1 shimano curado I 6.3.1 Old shimano citica bantam guessing its around a 5.1 speed (23 Inches per turn) Which reels should I pair up with these specific baits?
