I think this one is legit... Here is the article where I found it. Hey I'm not the fun police... But I've see the guy on multiple forums sharing his own photo and accepting lots of "congrats". At that point its like come on dude.

I've seen this posted a few times now... it's a great fish, but I just can't see how it's over 9lbs. For comparison, here is a 9lb smallie. Doesn't this fish look twice as big as the one in this post?? Considering how close it is to the camera, it can't be bigger than the one below. .

+1 for talking with your friends who are having success. Ask them about what kind of retrieve they are using. Even the same lure can be worked in different ways to either appeal to or not appeal to fish. And sometimes its just bad luck! Either way keep at it and try new things until you find something that works.
