  1. Thank you for all the nice thoughts. We're blessed with great kids and better yet ones that love the outdoors. Endless my son was 4 last week or it sure seems like it, don't miss any opportunities to be together as the time fly's.
  2. What a great trip to Okoboji/Spirit Lake Ia. The bass were a little tough but three days limit of Walleye will be great eating for several meals. My son is developing into a great fisherman and a better man. What a fun trip. GO BIG RED
  3. Green Pumpkin Senko's wacky style, and Lake Fork Ring Fry in watermelon red and Green pumpkin. We were fishing the reeds on Spirit.
  4. My son and I had a great trip to Spirit Lake. The bass were active and the Walleye were willing. Spirit Lake is slowly becoming my favorite lake. The Bass were chunky footballs that obliged with lots of fight! GO BIG RED!!

  6. I fished it last summer and stayed at Cedar Oak Lodge. My buddy made the reservation and told it was $30, I of course assumed each. Nope $30 split and we got what we paid for. There are a couple of motels in Stockton but be prepared for little to no amenities in the area. Pack a cooler if your fishing late as there were no restaraunts open after 9:00. All that being said I'll look forward to fishing it again this summer, just better prepared for what's down there. GO BIG RED Rod
  7. Hi All, Looking for a guide for a 1/2 day while in Orlando during the next week for my son and I. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Considering Big Bass Guide Service Orlando, Charlie Parrish. Thanks, Rod
  8. Yes the end of 104 years of games. I'm looking forward to the Big 10 but will miss the oldies.
  9. Thanks guys, Hotdawg was booked but he helped us find a guide to come on the boat with us. Thanks again. GO BIG RED. Ps. Kent the invite is still open for the MU/NU game up here.
  10. Anyone fishing Bull Shoals at the present time? Going down Weds and Thurs and would prefer to bass fish over renting and a boat and trout fishing the river. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rod GO BIG RED
  11. Tom Redington is as good as it gets. If he's not available I would call John Tanner and if no luck there someone else needs to chime in. GO BIG RED
  12. Just switched from an 8330 to the Sprint version of the droid and very happy. I thing the Blackberry was better for email but the new EVO/Droid is better in every other way.
  13. Dang Jon, I forgot you were close. We were there Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Fishing was tough until 6:00 Pm on Tuesday and then we found a rock ledge and a brush pile that we sat on for 3 hours and caught almost 30. Turned a tough trip into one I want to try again. I'll call for sure next time. Rod
  14. We will be bass fishing. Any particular spots that you would start out on or make sure we hit. Thanks for the help. Rod GO BIG RED!!
  15. I'm taking my boat on a business trip and going to fish Stockton lake for a day or two. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rod GO BIG RED!!
