  1. Thanks for all the help guys, had a couple bites, and was carried off a bed a couple times but no landed fish
  2. Never caught a fish on a jig before, going out on the kayak tomorrow and going to be throwing one. I usually throw an arkie head with a beaver or christy craw on the back. I usually hop twice and pause, and usually fishing around dams and some trees. Should I be switching up how I retrieve or should I target different areas. Thanks.
  3. Hi, I was thinking about picking up another casting setup and am leaning towards the 6'6 black max combo, it is a medium rod with moderate action and was planning to use it for mainly shallow and medium cranks, no deep divers. Would this be a good option, or would the 7'0 MH be a better option for what I want to use it for? Thanks
  4. I need new line for my bait caster and was curious about what line type to get. I used 50lb braid last season but was thinking about going for mono or flouro. I mostly Jig and crank, with the occasional spinner/chatterbait, and use a frog only a couple times a season. What do you guys recommend I get. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the fast responses, much appreciated
  6. Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I am going to be getting my first baitcasting setup soon, and don't know what power/action rod and what speed reel would cover most of my bases. Thanks for any and all answers! Happy fishing
