  1. Here are few flat sided shallow runners fresh off the drying wheel.
  2. First what is a rock fish? Thanks for the cool story, 52" muskie, 48" pike, 22lb bull red, 25lb fresh water drum, and now a 16lb rock fish. These are the biggest fish caught on my baits so far. Balsa baits are not weak if you build them right.
  3. All those baits look good. Are you using a photo finish as a base coat (so to speak) on the bream patterns?

    Fix a crank?

Post a pic of the bait so I can see the lip area. It's real tricky to do that repair but I have fixed a few.
  5. Sweet and worth the wait
  6. Here is the rest of a batch that I finished this week.
  7. Pic 2 is my version of chocolate shad and I love to hear success stories.
  8. I cannot believe you gave out the secret bait. Now there will be blown up long A's all over the place. By the way I have witnessed first hand the destruction the fish try to put on that particular bait.
  9. A few pics from this week's work. A mixed bag of different body styles.
  10. All the baits have the WOW factor but I'm still waiting to see the balsa
  11. Here is a new bait I've been working on. It's a 5 inch high floating minnow.
  12. Here are a few just finished, a few fat square bills, couple of flat sides, and the Charlie clone.
  13. Sweet, good job all around on that bait.
  14. Thanks for the all the kind words. John, no Petey style baits in this batch but the last bait is a Charlie O clone.
  15. Here are few more that I've finished up recently.
  16. If you put the fixed weight in the same location in the baits the action will be the same between the two. The free floating weight does not have enough room to move around and change the action. If you look at some of the old plastic baits they had weights that move from side to side to double has a rattle. Good looking bait there.

    Few new ones

Those baits look good but that's not the batch I'm waiting to see
  18. Iwata Revolution CR, finest of the beginner airbrushes. The .35mm tip will shoot any airbrush ready paint even the heavy pearls. Easy to clean and stands up to me (not an easy task).
  19. Here is a small batch I just finished up.
  20. Sweet
  21. Good looking bait
  22. Good work Ben, how much time did it take to carve the scales.
  23. The mini cranks are blast to fish on 4lb line and a buggy whip. John glad to see you back under the proper name
  24. good looking paint on all of those baits. Very clean work.
  25. I know but I'm not going to tell
