  1. I trim the skirt on my swim jig almost to the end of the hook if I'm doing a more compact presentation. If it's a bigger jig and trailer I'll usually leave the skirt alone.
  2. I bought some natural pink senkos and they were extremely soft and they also seem to slip off my Texas rig easier then other senkos I've used. I agree with the others though, Yum dingers and Stik Os are just as good at half the price.
  3. I usually bring 4 rods and my Daiwa backpack backed with a little bit of everything. Cranks, jigs, topwater, finesse stuff. Also good to bring some line, a decent amount of sun protection, and water.
  4. Hey there, My name's Chris and I'm located in Denver, CO (land of the dinks). Everyone around me fly fishes for trout or trolls for walleye but all I wanna do is throw a crankbait on the rocks and stick pigs. My addiction to buying tackle knows no bounds and you can find me on the pond 5 days a week. I'm liking these forums a lot due to the knowledge shared. Hope to stay for awhile
  5. Went on a little bit of a shopping spree at Bass Pro with a gift card and then some. Just stocking up on stuff for the summer/fall
  6. Only thing I use swivel snap's for is pre tied leaders with snell hooks when fishing with bait. You might be able to get away with a small snap on something like a crankbait but tying directly is the best so as to not affect the action of the lure.
