ive been using hollow body frogs for snakehead. smaller ones like 2 inches and under work good reeling them fast ish across the water. usually sight fish them. for gear i use a curado with a 10-17 pound medium rod... 30 lb braid does the job but only if you have a wire trace attatched to your frog... usually i can fix the frogs and with the wire trace i can catch snakeheads all day without retieing and ill usually keep a few extra frogs with wire to a barrel swivel in the box.. good luck
