Agreed. The MGL is available in Japan only, same as they did with the Casitas. I think with all the fancy upgrades and gimmicks in reel technology in the last 10 years the MGL spool is probably the biggest breakthrough. I'm a cheap old guy and used my round reels for probably too long until I picked up a friends Chronarch MGL. Fast forward 3 years and I have 2 of them and 2 Met's. If they ever come out with a Curado 70 MGL I'll dust off my wallet and grab a few.
Since the Curado DC is being discussed, anyone else more impressed with how solid it reels over how it casts? I've realized there is almost no distance gained vs. my MGL's but darn it if it isn't one of the most solid and smooth feeling reels I've ever used.
Lastly a dumb question. What is the difference between the SLX and the SLX XT?
