    50 year Northwest native that loves the greenery but the rain, not so much. 20+ year Road painter by trade. Alaska, Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Utah. Painted just a few miles. Been chasing salmon and steelhead for years. Problem is there are getting to be less fish and more people. Time to chase bass.

    Check out Marine General. Was able to get 2 7 gear and a 6 gear.

    Not wanting to hijack this thread but I'm looking at this rod also. I would like to use it for 3/8 -1/2 oz chatterbaits and up to 3/4 oz lipless. Any thoughts for those uses?

    Received a bunch of these worms in a box of Gambler baits I bought. Trying to figure out what brand. Don't see anything on gambler. Anyone have any ideas?

    So I swung for the fences and purchased a Steez AGS 7'6"H. Some great information and price at Tackle Trap sealed the deal. I didn't have a reel for such a rod so I bought a Daiwa Steez A TW 1016SH. The 894 is gone and the 873 is going. The new steez will fill the roll of 1/2 to 1 1/4oz bottom contact needs. Thanks for everyone's suggestions

    Ok, upper middle of the road. What would be some suggestions for a lighter (then 795) rod? Thanks. St Croix legend elite EC711HMF. I can get 1 of these for a very good deal, ( a little more then a refurbished 795) to much stick?

    Been looking at that rod very hard. Looks like the leading candidate as of right now. There is 2 listed on the refurbished Dobyns page now. Also, I would think they would be discounted for black Friday.
