  1. I had made my picks earlier today and just went and looked and dang if all of them aren't high percentage picks now.
  2. It's gonna be a slugfest. I predict it's gonna be bed fishing at its finest. 90lbs to win. Weather is warming and stabilizing, females will be moving shallow. It's gonna be a sight fishing game all weekend I'll update my roster later
  3. My last minute changes paid off big time. I think Cliff will make a huge comeback, and really disappointed in Cox. Keep it up Crews and Livesay!
  4. Zman has a floating worm and it works great. Limited amount of colors but it 100% floats. Fishing a floating worm is more of a technique, not just an individual worm that floats. We fish them alot in our local rivers, work the bait slowly, keep it 12" or less in the water column so you can visually see it, and just twitch it back to the boat.
  5. Because I simply enjoy fishing rivers more than lakes and ponds.
  6. I learned I'd rather spend all my time fishing rivers instead of lakes and ponds
  7. I will go hunting on ebay for them. Thank you, I don't mind painting some, but mudfish and Jacks are heck on em
  8. I still fish ? Just ain't posted much lol -its not a bomber long A, I ordered a few and they don't have a spinner on the back. And the way the bombers are molded you can't unscrew and add a spinner. This plug has been my number 1 producer this year and it's getting chewed up. They were give to me by an old timer. 9. Help identifying these lures.
  10. No skirt, but not necessarily a toad. Different soft plastics ranging from swimbait to sweet beaver. Mix it up.
  11. After searching high and low for certain colors of Zoom Ultravibe speed worms I gave up and had a company make some in the color choices I needed. To my disdain I see this thread. Not the news I wanted to hear. Affordable and quality rarely go together like Zoom products. Hope the best for them
  12. One that nobody's mentioned, and I hate to mention it, but I find myself using hula grubs more and more. Perfect smaller bait with a great profile. Bass get accustomed to see the same things and everyone is pitching some sort of bug. Mix it up a bit.
  13. Looking for some in 5" Junebug, I've searched the usual places anybody have insights on where I can find some?
  14. Weightless trick worm to minimize line twist. Other than that, they mean nothing to me
  15. I'm one. Majority of my fishing is flipping, 8.1 is perfect. You summed it up perfectly.
  16. I usually let the big ones go and keep smaller fish, but I had a new recipe I wanted to try so I kept a good mess. Actually lost one bigger than that at the boat. She probably would've been released. @HaydenS I didn't even pay attention to the discount tackle link I just went straight for the Amazon link ? I'll pay better attention next time. Edit: went and looked at discount tackle, I could kick myself. Great prices, I'll be saving that link
  17. Ghost white is the color I need. 15$ a plug! I ordered 3 @15$ a plug 1 mudfish and it could be gone so it's nice to have spares. Be here next friday. Thanks I hadn't even thought to look on amazon.
  18. Anybody know why these are sold out most everywhere. The Bullet 70 in Ghost is on fire right now and that color is sold out and backordered everywhere. Anyone have any sources on Berkeley baits? This is one popper that has outstanding action.
  19. 2/0 VMC neko hook is my main hook for dropshot and wacky rig. Great hook with an awesome hookup ratio.
  20. ~in before its locked~
  21. My favorite is still and will always be heat shrink tubing. I can catch 20+ fish on 1 GY senko with 2/0 vmc neko hook
  22. Neither, I usually pick up a spinnerbait before either one. I haven't had good success on either in my local rivers. I did order a bunch of Fogeys to put some time in with em.
  23. What Christie is fishing is almost exactly what I normally fish. Except tannic water. Small winding river, I feel right at home watching Christie sling that spinnerbait. I know yall reservoir guys hate watching this, but this is always one I love to watch. Carry on ~
