Guarantee you KVD changes out his hooks on his 'signature' baits?
Anyways, love the cranks, cheap, durable, and flat catch fish. Anybody have recommendations for a crank that fishes just like a 1.5 SK with better quality?
I was wondering about the hook up ratio. That was kinda a fear I had about it.
I also remembered Matt Allen talking about split ring on blade makes it longer to 'start up'
In all seriousness, North Ga, is to me a great 4 season location. You have Blue ridge mountains as a backdrop and home of some great Fisherys.
Summers don't get ridiculously hot like Fla, and winter's don't get Arctic cold like Minnesota. My wife's and I favorite place is Hiawasee, Ga. We go there regularly and enjoy Lake Chatuge. Long before Bassmaster Elites ever fished there.
Hope you do find what your after! ?
How often can you fish before you feel indentions? Etc..
I would recommend just keep fishing like you are and take a minute and retie. In my mind that's the simplest and cheapest route. Knots are free ?
Zebco ZO2 with Zebco Omega rod.
Jam up combo, I throw beetlespins and small cranks. Big gills, red breasts, crappie. I highly recommend checking them out.
I catch small channels and bullheads, but for bigger cats, check out a bigger rod.
Their Chatterbait (fogy) anybody have any reviews on it?
Seibert always has good reviews, and I'm looking for better than chatterbait brand but don't want to drop $20 on jackhammers

We had armored catfish in my local Lake growing up. Kinda crazy fish. Florida sure has plenty of strange fish (and people) ?

I stand corrected, there is a southern hake, or Gulf hake. I can eat my humble pie ?
We need a better picture. But I completely agree it looks like a hake?
Being From south I've never seen one, but plenty of walking cats. I could be wrong!! Wouldn't be the first
