  1. Pear jelly. Mmmmm
  2. Months before it's back right. When they drop water levels fast enough to kill fish it's going to be a long time Sounds like it took the oxygen out of the water because of fast drop rates and it caused a fish kill. Find somewhere else to fish, and complain to whoever was responsible for dropping water levels.
  3. Tackle Warehouse codes?
  4. I'm with Tom, the best fisherman will snag a dock. Nobody makes perfect casts 100% of the time
  5. Couldn't fish year round? Yeah I'd have my bags packed already
  6. Nobody has mentioned flukes, but they're a staple for me.
  7. World Record in Illinois? Yeah they have big deer, but not big Bass!! Largest was 13.1 in '76 ?
  8. Should've specified, 3 people in the boat kept over 100* And no don't agree with breaking the law. But also don't think the world will end either because people keep Bass. Just keep the legal amount.
  9. I keep Bass. But I refuse to clean 100. I've kept 100+ warmouth, legal limit was 50 a piece. That many Bass is ridiculous
  10. I wade a small river in South Ga when in the summer it nearly dries up. You Target the deeper water and they get stacked, snakes are abundant but lizards are few. Just be cautious and take protection if you decide to. I enjoy it
  11. Happy Easter to all! As I sit at work, sipping coffee, enjoying Bass Resource! Your lure looks "bouyant" ?
  12. Lots of Bass in the Bypass canal. I was hoping you had a boat, I don't have any bank spots. Check Google and find some ponds.
  13. Is it or is it not considered the world record still? Has it been passed? Not tied, passed? Wether or not you believe it or found facts to ease your mind, does it not still stand as a record? Legacy or not? Japan Bass was caught on live bait, that's why I personally disregard it. And what I meant by my statement "obvious reasons" was because I didn't want to clutter a thread with a debate about world record Bass. I trolled, and it got bit. I fish the Ocmulgee river, so I'm biased
  14. Just ordered 2 cavitrons that I will make myself fish this year. I've always throwed propbaits and poppers, but really want to give buzzbaits a chance. Nice thread. Thanks
  15. I opt for a double Colorado most days on my local rivers. Gold blades preferably. Muddy I put on black skirt, clear ot tannic I put on a white. Lake fishing, white skirt, double Willow most time. Keep it simple and experiment, find what works best on your local waters
  16. Does anyone selective harvest any Bass? You said it's gotten progressively worse throughout the years? Look up some articles on pond management.
  17. Nice work. Sounds like a great feature then!
  18. Trilene Big game 15lb backing, maybe 1/3 to half spool, then 30lb power pro. Or if I don't feel like messing with it, I spool all braid. Depends on my mood. But saving money, yeah it's definitely good for that. I also unspool my braid and flip it over so I can get longer life and save money. Less money on line, means more money for the Bait Monkey
  19. Assuming guests comments will have to be moderated more frequently?
  20. Everybody is brand loyal to a degree. You use what works best for you. But 'bashing' other brands, well I've been guilty but there is times when junk is junk. But humiliating someone for their choice in gear, doesn't promote the sport of Bass fishing or help your image either.
  21. Or they're sitting at work, dodging the boss, daydreaming about the Bass jumping in the river right next to work..
  22. What model 6th Sense crank is comparable to the 1.5 SK? I'm gonna order some to try. Everybody keeps talking about them ?
  23. Do you have a boat at all, or strictly bank? And how far are you willing to drive to fish?
  24. Nice bass, your totally hooked now!
