  1. I haven't fished with them yet, but my new cavitrons are flat out nice. You can tell quality soon as you open the package. Hope the Bass like em as much as I do.
  2. Anybody notice some big name Anglers struggling? How can they Excel in B.A.S.S. but falter so bad in MLF?

  4. Put a prop bait on her head. Let it sit. She'll react to that
  5. What about your last thread where people gave you some good suggestions?
  6. I was aware of that, but thanks though.? I just mentioned it might not be as exciting to watch as stage 4 was. But again, it's a diversity thing.. Locals that fish Smith Lake are probably enjoying watching it though.
  7. Welcome to Bass Resource
  8. Yeah but skiing 1lbers all day ain't much fun to watch ?
  9. Stage 4, slugfest. Stage 5, Dinkfest
  10. I'm gonna jump in, from reading other posts from flatRock, I don't think he's meaning what was conveyed out of his post. Fishing up north, I assume there's community holes, and fisherman kinda are use to it. Where as down south people spread out more? I'm not sure but I really don't think he meant anything negative from his post, even though some took it that way
  11. Never any Bass. Sometimes we'd get bored and throw inline spinners down middle of canal and catch mudfish and pikerals We usually fish folkston side, but if we wanna catch black cats and warmouth we go to Fargo. Few people have experienced the great Okefenok. Glad to run to a fellow angler!
  12. Here we go with pee again...
  13. Everybody has their own opinion on these things, if your boat is strapped to your trailer securely, you would be fine in my book. Any loose bolts you might find would be eliminated in routine maintenance and servicing of your engine. Always give it inspection every month or so, which you should be doing already.
  14. @N Florida Mike Spring and fall is when we usually go, fishing live crawfish under a slip cork. Easily catch 200+ on a good day! And fliers on yellow Sally's all day! Yellow flies are horrible, and the heat with no wind in the swamp can get rough. You better stay hydrated or you'll see the swamp monster. Gotta love the Okefenokee!
  15. Just call it a 4lb Chunk, and keep fishing! Welcome to BassResource
  16. Black spro popping frog, best one this afternoon
  17. Lately only Largemouth and spots. Only seen a handful of red-eyes come out of the Altamaha! The Suwanee river is about 50mins to 1hr south of me, just hard to justify going when the Altamaha is right!
  18. River Bass fight harder than lake Bass ?
  19. Praying for you and your family, hope you wear em out with that frog!
  20. Possible to fish a soft body with a trailer? I feel like the marketing tells you if you don't have a soft body trailer your missing out. But same time I fish trailer hooks on almost all my spinnerbaits. Simply because like you, my local Bass are experts at short striking. I think I might be overthinking it, I've never fished a buzzbait more than 5 casts. So I'm dedicating a rod just to keep one tied on at all times
  21. How bout throwing more rivers into the mix as well.
  22. Your weird Haha joking of course
  23. No soft body trailer?
  24. I'm bumping this one up from the dusty archives. I just drank the kool-aid and ordered several 3/8 cavitrons. After watching several videos, I do want to add a soft bait trailer. What's everyones favorite trailer?? I'm leaning towards a toad body, but don't want to overweight it. I like bifle bug junior with tail cut off. Nice small profile
