  1. Sounds like you have the basics covered. Dont stress it bro you got this! Easy win! Anyway you can pre fish it some?
  2. How do you like that reel? I have one in my cart at tacklewarehouse and haven't bit the bullet
  3. I haven't used them, but they look really good. If they produce as good as the rage bug then they will be hot for sure.
  4. @N Florida Mike - I forgot about the live target sunfish. I have 2 and they have never even produced a strike. Not even a sniff.
  5. YouTube- Urban fishing. It's so trending ?... but honestly if theres a market and I was a business and could make money off it, sure. Kinda smart. You know they'll sell out soon as popular YouTubers' are sponsored and market them. Go Okuma for capitalizing on a market.
  6. Bill had access to Phosphate pits in Central Fla that were mined from Mosiac. I grew up fishing similar private lakes. Loaded with bass, crappie, gills. 20ft drop offs straight off the bank. If anyone has had the privilege of fishing similar places they too understand Bill's success.
  7. Different topwaters different speeds. My 2 go-to's are definitely buzzbait and fluke. Buzzbait fished slow as possible, fluke usually fished fast and real aggressive
  8. That's hilarious.
  9. They dont make car seats for that yak? ? Dude, Good luck on the open! I'm rooting for ya! https://www.flwfishing.com/news/2018-04-08-top-10-baits-from-santee-cooper I'm sure you've already breezed through that ^^
  10. Weather has really messed up the crappie bite. We didnt even have a winter it dont seem like!
  11. I gave up when I kept bending out EWG's. Trokar flipping hook solved that. 3/0 for small creature baits, 5/0 for bigger baits. And no Snell knot just palomar
  12. Oh man, I love my Smithwick Rogues! They get bit like crazy around here!! Sorrry for your loss ?
  13. Welcome! Thanks for your service as well. Crappie are biting good at Crescent. Thought about heading that way and getting on em!
  14. That's the Joy's of shift work. I rarely if ever have to fish a Saturday anymore!
  15. Same. Buzzbaits produce better that the plop flop
  16. I ain't above it! I figured you'd like that haha. Hate they posted it on Facebook, now every tom, dick, and harry gonna be out there lol
  17. No lower than 30# on my casting gear. Just plain ole Power Pro green moss braid. 65# for flipping. Always been good to me.
  18. For any locals, Ga DNR posted this: looks juicy! Use to be lots of pads with tannic water.
  19. I think I'm gonna order some and use 10lb Yo-zuri leader. Never know till you try right?
  20. Anybody use Yo-Zuri Hybrid for leader material?
  21. Does anyone use a mono leader in place of flouro?
  22. Thanks for all the effort team, we pushed, we struggled, but in the end we gained victory.
  23. @jbsoonerfan I got 3 on the Ole monster, and 1 on a magnum lizard w/ 1/2oz pegged tungsten. Water was still a tad cold they haven't moved in all the way. Just the early birds. But moved out to 20ft drop offs and picked em off like crazy with the ned, I think we used the big TRD? Not sure about the name. It took 5mins for that sucker to sink seemed like!! Good learning new tricks ?
