  1. In terms of sensitivity. I own a casting model from all the lines you ask. 1. NRX Sensitivity 10 2.Steez Ags (bottom contact) Sensitivity 9 3. P5 Jig rod Sensitivity 8.5 4. Dobyns champ extreme Sensitivity 6.75
  2. This entire thing is a math question. Purchasing more expensive vs less, USA made vs not does not change the math. I'm seeking to understand why the chargers don't tell you what they pull in and what they are.
  3. Just a reminder that just about everything considered quality at a higher price is Chinese branded and marketed for profit margin by us companies
  4. I’m not intending on running my 15 year old charger on the lithium. I was intending for low to leave the dual pro (15 year old charger) with one lead conntexted to my giant x2 cranking battery and then use a dedicated 36v 10 or 20 amp lithium charger for my single lithium battery. What I don’t want is my standard 15-20amp breaker tripping because I’ve plugged in two chargers. It sounds like people, like me, aren’t sure how much their chargers actually pull from the outlet. Okay, take cheap out of it, how many amps does your noco charger pull from the outlet and how many amps is that charger overall and per bank? Buying a charger that will do a 12v arm and a 36v lithium is not what I’m willing to spend right now
  5. for example two different boats (friend and mine) with two different chargers I have a dual pro 2009 ranger 40amp four bank (10 amp per bank i suppose) He has a pro mariner pro tournament 36 amp four bank I'm removing my 3 lead acids and going with one 36v lithium and I'm going to likely keep my old dual pro for now and purchase a cheap 36v charger. What I don't understand is how many AMPS from the outlet (110v) that the chargers actually pull. In a specific situation (canada trip) I have to pull off of one single 15 or 20 (can't remember) amp outlet. Obviously a 15 amp outlet can't pull more than 15 constant amps otherwise the breaker would trip Question If I'm using the dual pro 4 bank with only one lead I assume it's only going to pull enough for 10 amps for that battery but what actually amps from the outlet will it be pulling? The same goes for my other charger which we will say will be a 20amp 36v charger. How many constant amps from the outlet will it pull ? Is the charger the one upping the amps? Point is, I don't want this 15-20amp breaker constantly tripping.
  6. Agreed, has to have both
  7. This is such a fan way to get big bites in the summer.
  8. Bumping this for anyone that can help me locate a part that will fit, even if it's a different color. Currently, his reel is out of service.
  9. Do you know which would fit the bates, daiwa or Shimano?
  10. Would a daiwa handle fit? Any other sub $60 handle recommendations? can you buy the daiwa paddle handles and or something similar economically to the ones linked above. ? https://tackletrap.com/products/daiwa-tatula-100mm-gunmetal-handle-assembly as always, any advice is appreciated
  11. Thank you, I’ll take a look. I have been interested in that newer golf Lewis reel
  12. The alphas and thus that tatula frame just doesn’t do it for me. Something about it being flat. The other problem with this is that the bates looks to be using a very similar frame to the alphas and thus tatula 80. it’s the roundness of the steez ct sv that is perfect. The last problem with the bates is its price. That’s steez jdm pricing to me. It’s hard to buy a bates over a steez. Just give me a steez ct sv frame with a spool that holds a little more line.
  13. I’m looking for any comparisons as I don’t love the zillion frame. Love the reel but I do much prefer a 70ish sized frame with a 100 sized spool. Does anybody know the differences and if the new tstula sv or 100 is smaller in hand than the zillion and if so how much bigger tham the stees ct sv
  14. My son dropped his in the lake. Plat says the production has ended. ALPHAS SV TW 20 ALPHAS SV TW 800XHL LEFT Part number 59. also, do all the other variants like the shallow spool and air have the same side plate ?
  15. I own two conquests 844c’s. While I know they are capable of pitching up to a 3/4 ounce Texas rig that is the top end for an already mushy tip rod. Don’t get me wrong, it works and can work well if having some mush and soft tip is your thing but I wouldn’t throw a 3/4 ounce jig and trailer on it as my first priority. It would be good for paddle tails. I hear the glx844c is more powerful than the conquest. The conquest great, just not a great “heavy” jig rod. I’d look toward something more like a steez power pitch , expride/ adrena 72H, bottom contact rod, 873c id guess has more power than the 844c conquest. Also, this conquest 844c weighs 4.2oz, it’s extremely light. I have a steez ct on it, weighing a totsl of 9.5 oz. This rod likes a light reel in my opinion.
  16. I have the same charger and a monster of an x2 cranking battery that I still need to charge. Prices on 36v 100ah lithium’s are hard to beat though. My lead acids could make it the season but they are so. Solid state won’t be out in a year and I’d imagine they will be very expensive for awhile.
  17. Do we think batteries such as 12 & 36v 55-100ah lithium’s are going to continue to drop in price ? Trying to decide wether to buy now vs 3 months from now .
  18. The vmc crossover rings save me tons of money.
  19. Can we all agree that the met 70 isn’t a 70? Hell, it’s a 150. They have done everything possible to keep making money on that sub par frame. Yes it’s solid, yes it soulless, yes they have made the 150, the 100, the 100s? And now the 70. Make a new reel. Very few people want a 70 sized spool in a 150 frame.
  20. Wouldn’t the 73mh adren (gen 2) be a good swim jig rod ?
