My SLX pairs flawlessly with my Sierra 734 it's incredibly balanced. And seeing as the Slx and tatula both weigh 6.9 oz I think the tatula should pair just as nicely. I think you'd get more casting distance with the tatula. If you can get both for the same price I'd go with the Tatula.
A Daiwa Fuego Ct for $65 is the best reel you can get for the money. I have the Slx and the Fuego. The Slx is a good reel but I definetly prefer my fuego.

Hi guys,
I just saw that there is going to be a fishing flea market February 2nd. Is this a worthwhile event? I've never been to a flea market before and it sounds fun, not too far of a drive, only 35 minutes. What should I expect?
Take a look at the Chrinarch Mgl, I think it's a happy medium between the two reels. I dont have a Metanium to compare it to but its definetly nicer than the Curado.
I would get a Dobyns Fury 703 or 704 depending on what weights you're planning on throwing. Paired with either a Daiwa BG or Fuego LT. Mojo Bass is a nice rod but too stiff for my liking, and since you're planning throwing cranks I wouldn't go with the Mojo.
Depends what cover you're fishing, I think MH would be better if you're throwing half oz jigs, remember a 3/8 oz jig + trailer comes out to be 1/2-5/8 oz. I only fish open water so I use 30-40 lb braid with 15 lb yozuri hyrbid leader.
