I was in the exact same position as you. I went the with the Tatula and my dad got the K a few weeks later. They both perform great but the K doesn’t do as well with baits under 3/8 oz, it also doesn’t skip baits as well. The K outcasts the Tatula but not by much. After a year of pretty hard use with both the K is still smooth as the day I got it, whilst the Tatula isn’t nearly as smooth. If I had to buy one again I’d definitely go with the K.
Stick with daiwa and Shimano. If you intend to throw lighter baits the Daiwa will be better. If you know you won’t go under 3/8 oz then the Curado will be best.
I fish alone 95% of the time. I’m an extrovert, but I enjoy solitude just as much as being around a lot of people. Fishing is my outlet for when I just want to relax and be left alone.
I have the Levante Shakyhead and it’s really amazing. I can’t compare it to anything from the XX line but it is a step above my Dobyns Sierra in terms of sensitivity.
It should do just fine, I’ve been using my Slx for almost a year for spinner baits, chatterbaits, frogs, and texas rigs with no problem. And mine is an 8.2:1.
Agreed. There is no comparison between my Slx and my dads Chronarch. The Chronarch blows the Slx out of the water in smoothness, distance, and performance.

no better value in this price range. The 7’ mh should do just fine.
