  1. THE SCIII IPC mojo is the cousin of avid from Mexico with spilt grip .
  2. Noooo, the colour is too sharp for the fish, they can see you are trying to hook their mouth under the water. Just kidding!!! I don't think they care.
  3. I'm really into Lew's custom lite if I have to buy a reel today.
  4. What rod do u pair with that? I tried put mine to my legend tournament and xtreme I feel very uncomfortable , it feel way better to sit on the Avid . But I have a bitter feeling to put a ex-flagship on a entry level rod.
  5. Yes that’s what I’m talking about , the new Antares DC is sitting there and is just cost few more McDonald’s meal for a brand new one . I can’t understand why someone is betting that money for the Calais.
  6. I own a Calais DC too. Of cause it has superb casting ability and it look super cool also the dc sound , but also the weight itself is a obvious downside . And for that money if something of a 10+ years old reel go wrong then is another story. I don't have any same level reel after I have kids. So I wish some guys can tell us how the modern DC reel compare to this. BTW I alway think it look very similar to the robocop 1987 since I open the box?
  7. I can't believe my eyes when the app noticed me the bidding was over. 500 bucks for a 10+ years old reel? Seriously?
  8. +1 that’s exactly what I did to all my cork handle rods no matter used or band new.
  9. I used to have some xt, for the price you can’t hate that.
  10. I have a LTB71MHF and similar spec tatula ,tatula xt and some zillion . For me I think the daiwas are focus too much of the weight of the rod itself , yes they are sensitive enough even the tatula XT at least for my self . But sometimes that is too light . When I’m in action I want to feel something in my hand ,that’s why I work with my LT more than any of my daiwas.
  11. I have a very bad experience with spider , never again .
  12. No question. They are on different level.
  13. Not coming to Canada?
