You were right to fish the other side, if another boat had came up the opposite side and fished, he wouldn't have any say. As long as you didn't front end him, he needed to shut up and learn a few things from you. And yes, I'm a boater, never been a co-angler.

I use the smoke bait casting reels. I think that price point is about right. I do have most of those mounted on g Loomis rods which are far superior to other rods. I only use spinning rods for live bait fishing so $100 is the limit.

Microwave is the quickest. If I'm shooting a lot of baits, I heat in the microwave and then pour into a fry daddy to keep a consistent temperature due to the large amount of plastic.
