  1. Bass Tracker Heritage Owners Group On Facebook. Wealth of info to be had from fellow heritage owners. One downside is not all foot pedals are the same size. Going into the future and as the cost comes down on the fly by wire blue-tooth motors not all will even have foot controls.
  2. I had the camera mounted to the top of the pole for the footage. When you double tap up it retracts all the way up and after a second it will retract the rod back down a couple inches to hold it in place for driving to the next spot. It will accept most 3/4" OD poles so the depth is expandable. The powerpole brand pole fits perfectly along the drivers side with the clips provided. Out of the way
  3. The wind died down finally. The temperature unfortunately climbed. Got to try out the Powerpole Micro today. It did awesome. With the 8.5ft pole in the soft delta I could anchor in about 6.5-7ft. The delta Is very shallow for the most part so it should be fine. The pole has a 1/4-20 threaded hole so I through on the GoPro to see how it would look at the top of the pole when running around.
  4. Im sure you had that connected when it was all hooked up. I uncovered my boat one time and the fish finder was on. Now I unplug it every time i come back. the trolling motor as well when storing between trips.
  5. In the California Delta due to the tidal action the bass are spawning in less than 5ft. Lakes may taper taper off in terms of depth relative to the spawning bed so if you wanted to make a cast you might need a deeper pole to give you some distance from the bed. Where I fish in the delta it is very shallow unless you go out into the main channels. The Pole I got was a 8.5ft pole. That must mean 7.5 and below for anchoring including penetration depth and the mounting height above the waterline. If you fish lakes it might not be worth the money.
  6. ?My second in command had one job. I will be sure to reprimand him. Nice catch
  7. Power Pole Micro installed on the rear today. It has been super windy out in the delta so nothing to do but install upgrades and wait for the wind to die down. Used the VIP discount card to get 10% off the Power Pole Micro and the pole that is sold separate. It has a $100 rebate when you buy both that im about to get ready to send in as well. I dont have a picture of it but the pole is mounted along the starboard side when not in the power pole. Its totally out of the way when stowed away which is nice. I dont have to bridge the gap on the side with the rod holders.
  8. Anyone look at shallow water anchors for the Heritage? Its pretty light so I was looking at a Power Pole Micro on the transom and if it spins in the wind another on the front bow later on. Its significantly cheaper than a Minn Kota Talon and adding hydraulic spider legs is not my cup of tea.
  9. Took it for the first time in its stock configuration. Did the break in for a couple hours and just did some delta exploring. Ran awesome. I cant wait to get my fish-finder put on with navigation. The California delta is vast and you can get turned around pretty easy without knowing it. The stock hull numbers bass pro put on have got to go. I purchased some orange and black ones in advance. I honestly didn't know I would already have a number when picking the boat up. Now I wait for the gift card. Wonder how long it will take for that email?
  10. Put the order in beginning of January just waiting. I go to get tackle at bass pro but I know its just to stare at the floor model and bug them about my boat. Now spend my time researching accessories. When im extremely bored I stare at google maps and look at all the places to launch from near me on the delta.
  11. The side rails on the boat are very narrow when compared to its more expensive cousins. Does anybody know for sure how wide it is? I am scouring the web for rod holder ideas and want the width of the rail to keep in mind. Looking at something like this because a regular scotty flush mount might be too wide and the hole too deep to accommodate. http://scotty.com/product/no-340-track-adaptor-copy-copy-2/
