  1. We're here for you, buddy
  2. Started with PP 50# then went to Sufix 832 in 50# - it's quieter through the guides, I get more distance and it seems to cut through the weeds better too.
  3. I've got Bass Trek pretty well balanced fore-aft, and when I built the mount for the TM I designed it to drop the TM directly off the bow-point. Tracking is good with the 45# Edge cable-steer and I adjusted the steering so that I can even direct it straight backwards. There's enough tension that I can release the foot pedal and she'll stay on the 'set' course.
  4. Sounds like he got an old, used MinnKota 35 The 35M and N models pushed 17lbs thrust at max speed and drew 25amps. So a 50AH lithium battery would last 2 hours at max...probably 10 hours at minimum if it pulls the same 5amps that the more modern TMs do at min. Average usage....a 35ah would probably be the smallest I'd go for. And yes - a NOCO Genius would be your best bet for a charger.
  5. Except Gim isn't requiring money, he's just accepting offered money - there's a difference. Splitting costs voluntarily doesn't fall under the 'Professional Guide' rules...it's just friends helping friends.
  6. Stay strong, bro...she's in the best of hands at HF, they'll take good care of her. You just cuddle with Kya and Tank - they're both probably missing 'mom' as much as you are. Lighting a candle to send good vibes to both of you.
  7. 10 years since the last post - 5 years since the OP even signed on....
  8. Well, I'm out this week....and what happened with Hack?
  9. Shore fishing again Wednesday - couple small crappie and a few small sunnies...nothing worth keeping.
  10. No - the Trout series also has EVA handles...so it's not a new thing from them.
  11. I use Reaction Tackle Tungsten Wacky jig-heads - 1/16oz or 1/8oz normally
  12. But EVA instead of Cork for the main part of the handles....oh well...at least it looks to have a round handle instead of that (for me) uncomfortable Trigon thing.
  13. Ya - Hack and Walters too... With Seth - I'm kinda like Cubbies die-hards....108 years they waited between WS championships....
  14. Oh this is going to be fun - end of day 1 and I've got one above the cut-off.
  15. Since I've been using/programming computers for over 50 years - it's just a matter of learning new OS' for me
  16. I haven't caught any near that on Whaletail - might have to hit it more often as it's just down the road from me...about 15 minutes drive.
  17. I posted the instructions on how to shrink photos on Android a while ago...
  18. ^ I'm with Glenn and GRiver - foot control is allowed to be moved around. It's often enough that I'm facing a direction that makes it so I couldn't reach a recessed pedal, so I leave it loose so it can be moved around on the deck to where it's handy for me to use.
  19. Not that Bass Trek can handle more than one - but these would be the rules if it could. 1: PFD worn when the main motor is running 2: No Alcohol 3: No work, politics or religious talk 4: I won't make you wear eye protection, but if you get a hook or something else in your eye that needs medical attention...they can pick you up at the nearest dock, I'm not 'holding your hand'.
  20. Three only....urg.... Lipless cranks Chatterbaits ummm errr Ned (wince)
  21. Congrats @Mike L
  22. Clear your history and cache - might be a blip with your browser. It's up here.
  23. I'm a little different - and everything is based on IPT 33"+ for Pitch/Punch and Frogs Under 27" for Cranks and Chatterbaits 28"-32" for everything else.
  24. Yep - and it's not like the total lure weight isn't way under the rating Panfish rod is rated 1/8-1/2oz 1/32 Ned + Z-Man TRD stick = .03125+.1380=.16975 - which is just shy of 3/16 total...well over the 1/8oz minimum of the rod.
