  1. hey there - try Fiero Fluid Power Automation Distribution out of Utah. They make all types of custom manufacturing machines.
  2. I have shot hundreds and hundreds of worms and grubs through SLA printed molds. SLA doesn't use infill or supports, and wont crack like typical ABS material FDM prints. I typically don't see cracks above 25% infill on FDM either. Here is some info on the resin for others out there. https://support.formlabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000015670-Using-Tough-Resin Sure it has a 30th of the modulus of aluminum - but if you are hand injecting I cant see building enough pressure to matter.
  3. great work
  4. These look amazing. Are the scales a stencil or?
  5. This is exactly it. You can check your power settings if the microwave has been recently unplugged... Heating a pint of fresh plastisol takes me at least 2-3 minutes in 45 second intervals. Good luck to you! Welcome to the sickness!
  6. Looks really nice. How did you reflow them onto the soft plastic craw?
  7. Yes sir, This actually started my lure making frenzy. I was making glow in the dark grubs in 3d printed lure molds for burbot! Use this poweder: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K0SA5I8/ref=asc_df_B01K0SA5I85402272/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395033&creativeASIN=B01K0SA5I8&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198100706044&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2445298746462807102&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9029683&hvtargid=aud-441392016954:pla-349099923319 And use about a tablespoon to a half pint. They out glow the yamamoto glow grubs by 10 minutes easy. Make sure you keep your uv flashlight handy for fast charging. I have even mixed it into 2 part epoxy and dressed jigs in a pinch.
  8. I have a few dual extrusion machines, so yes can do multiple colors on a single print. Im really not a crank bait guy though. I use my printers for soft plastic molds. It has been a really great tool.
  9. Not at all, just gets your fingers messy. Its a suspender in your fish baits plastisol.
  10. No, microwave for my soft plastic plastisol fish baits. Just heat more than you need, keep yhe thermal properties on your side. That way it doesnt require constant heat.
  11. Saw your video on another site - really enjoyed it. I am going to attempt to use this method to build large lake trout tube jigs this weekend. Ice off is just around the corner so i can 3d print up a bunch of rods to make my own soft plastic tube jigs and go from there. Need to get around to harbor freight to get an arbor press. Hopefully i still have my 20% off coupon hanging around!
