Thanks! I live in Texas so yeah it would be just as you described. Honestly it would be very rare occasions this would happen if ever. Was just curious if the boat can actually handle the corrosive nature of salt water or not, or if it should be avoided all together.
I do not have much experience with aluminum boats. But i was curious if on the off chance that i fancy taking it down to the coast. What should i expect as far as maintenance goes or should i avoid putting it in salt water all together?
Found this online. This person ordered a duplicate size gas tank and battery. It all fits. But man is that cramped. I guess that would be a good thing.
Can you post some pictures of how you have your batteries setup? I went with the Minn Kota 3 bank charger and that thing is huge! Trying to figure out how Im going to set it up.
For those of you who have received your boat. Is there enough room to add a second gas tank along with a 3rd battery? Judging by some of the pictures i have seen I'm not sure a 3rd battery and 2 gas tanks would fit. Would probably have to do one or the other? If any of you have this setup could you post some pictures on your layout?
Thanks!
There is a seller on eBay selling a ProMariner 3 bank ProMar 1 5/5/3 charger for 131 dollars. Have any of y'all had any experience with these? I see most are going with the MinnKota 2 bank but I plan on adding another battery. The MinnKota 3 bank is around 150. I just don't know if there is really any difference in quality or performance.
Ordered mine yesterday. Dealer said beginning of June. They only had 10 people on the list and said that a few of them have backed out so there is a chance i might get it sooner. We will see. Are any of yall looking to get a stainless prop if so which one are you going with? Cant wait to get this boat!
Thanks
