  1. agree, would like this coupon. I just got a curado 201hgk for my son off Ebay. they had a good enough deal going, so I bought it. I still need a decent rod to mate it to. the 20% off would help
  2. ordered in early June, and it came in last week. haven't even had a chance to get it close to water yet. maybe next week sometime:) so far I love it and I haven't even fished in it yet:)
  3. I went ahead and ordered a RT178. it will be designated with a 2019 serial number without the 2019 updates. 8 weeks delivery I was told. no worries, it will be worth the wait.
  4. thanks for the info. guess i will just wait and see. I was close to getting one with a 75hp but I figure most lakes around here are real small so I'll go with a lighter set up. I'll need to wait and order a 19.
  5. Hello fellas, wanted to find out if there are any changes to the 2019 model year ranger RT series (178/188) currently not any in my immediate area and am thinking about ordering a 19 as production starts June 1st. if there were not any significant changes I'll just drive to pick up a 18 that is at a dealer 200 miles away. I went and looked at 1 that was in my area but sold a few hours before I got there. if anyone has any info (insider?) on the 19's, I'd appreciate the info. not sure what the changes would be but maybe would sway me to wait. thanks
  6. Hey Fellas, got a call from my tracker dealer(bass pro) this morning, said there was a boat that fell thru from an order before mine and it was mine if I wanted it. well...i told him yes, but it has a trailer brake option I didn't want. anyway, I said I'd pay it instead of waiting. so I hung up and then thought about it even more...and decided I'm going to need a 4 person boat to keep it legal. Canceled that and my old order and decided I better go with the Pro 175 txw. Anyway, money wasn't the option, I just wanted the heritage because I like what it stands for, but alas, I had to make the decision on the 4 person. I can pick it up anytime. I got the red one (would prefer no paint to tell you the truth, and also got the vinyl floor. that's it, plain jane otherwise. I gotta figure out what I want to do with my min kota 2 bank charger and spare tire I've already bought in advance. anyone traveling west of desmoines on i-80, stop by I'll make you a good deal. all of you have been helpful, I appreciate your enthusiasm and knowledge and for taking the time to share everything you have with all of us. I'll check in from time to time. Hope to see you out on the water! jim
  7. yep, by how far those plates go past the actual trailer, it looks like that’s what they were shooting to do. Why make them so wide? Unless it’s parts bin items.
  8. is this supposed to be engineered to break the nylon threads before bending the trailer? I wouldn't think so. if that's the case, why not a break away spring loaded. haha, anyway, guess I'll need to find some quality lock nuts. the lock nuts are so thin, it doesn't allow many threads for holding power. best option would be to have as many threads grabbed as possible.
  9. that's not right. I'd find local dealer who has ordered a bunch. maybe they would have one coming sooner than that. I called a dealership who had 40 of them coming and with the promos as well. what I don't understand is why unsold boats are shipped to dealers before sold orders are filled. makes no sense.
  10. seems like they pull build dates out of a hat. mine is sceduled for end of June build. I ordered Feb 23rd. if I wanted I could cancel and get one a couple hundred miles south and haul it home, but I'll wait.
  11. thanks for the pics. when I seen the boat at bass pro, I lifted the back hatch and seen that mess and thought I was gonna have to do some organizing too. Nice work, now don't need to worry about wore out line.
  12. My tracker dealer contacted me, said that they currently don’t have a metal replacement fender for that trailer. Who knows, eventually one may be available.
  13. Yes, that’s what I’m afraid off, breaking them off because they are plastic. I’m wondering if, say, the fenders of the 175 can bolt up to the heritage trailer. ill give a call to the tracker dealer and see if there is an optional replacement.
  14. just a question to you guys with the heritage, is there any way to bolt up a metal usable stand on trailer fenders to the heritage trailer?
