  1. Ok so some knife nano-oil would be ok to use. I do notice that when I removed and cleaned my Elites, when it isn't oiled, it spins forever so I figured I asked
  2. Ok I get it. If I was to remove the shields off of my Zillion, clean, dry and install without oil. Running it dry is ok?
  3. $34 per set seems up there. Are these bearings as superior as you can get, or are there more higher end options?
  4. Upgrade. So far I've been seeing so much styles of bearings. All with different codes. Would like to learn more and order some.
  5. Looking for new bearings for my old and new Daiwa Tatula SV’s and Elites. Where should I go?
  6. I purchase the Daiwa Tatula LT spinning reel about a month ago and noticed that when I cast, it makes a weird noise. It almost seems that the braid (PowerPro 15 or 20) when exiting, is hitting the top edge of the spool and creating a high pitch noise. I also notice that the casts aren't as far also. The line isn't hitting the (Nanonace 7'3") blank. It's coming from the spool. Anyone else experience this?
  7. I'm looking for a small sit on top fishing kayak. I have a small sit inside and currently fishing out of it but hate it. So now I'm on the hunt for a sit on and a compact style also. First off, I came across the Catch 100 and fell in love. Then I saw the Vibe Yellowfin 100 and loved the way you can put two 3600 boxes one on each side of you instead of piling them at your feet. For those who have experienced both of these kayaks and possibly I'm missing couple other kayak comparisons out there, please fill me in. Thanks in advance ya'll!
  8. This is a very encouraging experience. Thanks you!
  9. So if I get that assasin, changing the spool helps?
  10. So I've been bass fishing for only about 5 months now. I love to drop shot and do a whole lot of finessing. The problem is that I cannot hold a spinner rod anymore due to carpal tunnel syndrome. When I use my baitcast, I have less pain. I cast with the right and then I put my whole right hand over the top of the baitcast reel and start cranking with my left hand. I know, pretty eccentric but feels more doable. Tolerable. I guess I would want to use a baitcast for finesse fishing INSTEAD of a spinner is what I'm asking. So if anyone can help me, maybe in that same situation, what would be the best baitcast combo for finesse fishing? The reel speed/ratio, style of rod and recommended fluorocarbon. I already have a baitcast combo for power fishing. Thanks in advance.
  11. Thank you all! I Had gone with the Premier. I tried it and I caught a small bass.
  12. Sticking to spinning reel only yes.
  13. I saw a yellow eagle claw drop-shot pole for about $80 but it was a one piece. Felt good but unsure of quality and reliability of that brand
  14. Well, about $100-$200 or so. I just got a Cabellas credit card so maybe pushing a little more?
  15. I have a baby car seat in the middle of the backseat. Game over for the one piecers. Can someone tell me if I can just USE a "Drop-shot" rod exclusively for bass? Like use it as a versatile pole? Or is it necessary to get a normal spinner pole. I'm not familiar at all with bait cast at all so I'll stick to spinner poles.
  16. I have a Honda Accord and was interested in a really good "two piece" rod for bass fishing. Possibly a 6'6" and medium. I've scoured Cabela's, Field and Stream but hadn't got one yet. It was hard to find a two piece without grabbing them all. What are ya'll recommendations and experiences? I also would have to get reel to match.
