  1. Might be able to get some info here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/westmichiganbass
  2. Well that was a year ago and going back next week. Last year we did alright in the resort tournament we took 3rd and got our entry back. The next week for Big bass we didn't do very well. We had tough weather conditions both weeks between freezing cold then warm then cold again. Strong wind every day. This year we are going a week later and the ten day looks so much better. Thanks everyone for your advice and tips.
  3. My daily carry is a Sig p938. I like it because its small, light, easy to hide and has a manual safety.
  4. I really like my p938 but that looks very nice indeed
  5. My wife carries a Sig p238 (380) its a great carry gun.
  6. My partner and I are Leaving for Table rock tomorrow from Michigan. We are fishing a resort tournament this weekend and the Big Bass tournament the next weekend. I have never fished the lake but my partner has been going the last 40 years. The lake is huge as you probably know so pin pointing one spot is very hard. What I have done is look up Table Rock videos on you tube. There are local guides giving advice on where to start and what they are biting on. Best of luck to you I hope you get your limit everyday.
  7. Larew salt craw in Tequila Sunrise dang that was a fish catcher!!!
  8. Gene Larew salt craws in Tequila Sunrise color those things just work.
  9. We use dough balls to target bugle mouth bass ( carp ). If you have never caught one you don't know what you are missing. They pull like a freight train and are a blast to catch. I have caught many over 30 inches they are fun!!!
  10. I have had mine for 10 years never a problem but have heard the same about the newer ones
  11. Absolutely love my Kimber CDP ultra carry. It is so smooth and accurate very nice right out of the box.
  12. I have a spinning and casting combo and love them. I have some more pricey combos but the crush combos are what I grab most and first.
  13. Its the only trailer I use on spinnerbaits but I break the worm off at about an inch from the tail. That way the tail goes about 2-3 inches behind the skirt. I have had very good luck with system. I try to match the worm color to the skirt color.
  14. Pretty sure there is I just have the two but I think you could put another one in there. If you go look at the boat you can see for sure.
  15. I bought a Tracker pro 170 this spring and am very happy with it.
  16. I have one each casting combo and spinning combo I love them both. Very smooth and can cast a long way with both of them.
  17. I have used bobbers plenty of times when fishing with live shiners in Florida.
  18. I have two orange crush combos one casting one spinning and I must say I love them both. I had the casting combo first and liked it so much I went back a week later and got the spinning combo. When I bought the casting combo I also bought a tatula sv and XML rod at Cabelas. The orange crush combo is my go to set up love everything about it.
  19. I still use them Texas rigged with Gene Larew salt craws very deadly combo up here in Michigan.
  20. I have had mine out 6 times now and it does everything I need it to do. I am very happy with the way it rides and fishes plenty of room for everything I need.
  21. I have to say I love the crush combo!! I bought a Diawa Tatula sv and put it on a MXL m/h f rod and the Crush combo throws the same weight bait farther than the Tatula. Both reels are smooth and I like them both but the Crush combo is the first one I grab. I might have to pick up a spinning combo in the near future.
  22. If you are leaving it running the whole time you are fishing my guess is its over heating. That's just a guess on my part maybe somebody else has a better answer.
  23. If your dealer has a pro 170 look it over as it has the same hull as the Heritage and the same floor plan of the pro 160. At least it will give you an idea of what to expect on your Heritage while you wait.
  24. It would be great if they offered a combo at a great price.
  25. I think that will depend on dealer and brand that you are buying. But you can get a longer amount of time on a loan for a new boat with smaller payment if that's the way you want to go. A dealer will be able to help you with all that either new or used.
