Trying to update my helix 7 but wont recognize my SD card. I put it in the unit and turn it own and it starts up like normal. The SD card has been formatted and the update is on the card just not getting to unit.
Checked on this unit myself. It is set up for the ocean however the one from Bass Pro comes with Lake View maps which will make it fine for freshwater fishing. It's also last year's model without the touch screen.
Well I went by Dick's Sporting Goods and talked the guy out of the Helix 7 and a hook 7 for 650. I know the Humminbird is an older unit but for that price it's hard to pass up
I found a helix 7 si gps on sale at dicks sporting goods for $599 it's a 2015 model according to the box. It was a display and the only one, is it worth it?
