    I haven’t tried any of the cranking rods, sorry. If you do, let me know how it turns out for you!

    The best $100 rod I’ve found so far is the Daiwa Tatula XT. Get the 7’1 medium heavy extra fast for jigs and texas rigs

    I agree with this 100%. I just picked up a tatula elite 7’1 Heavy fast and I also have a prior generation tatula xt 7’1 MH extra fast. Both rods are nice but the elite is definitely a step up.
