  1. I was having problems losing fish with zman ned rig hooks, TRD combo. I noticed it's almost always from my kayak, I set the hook and the rod is high and I'm reeling at a pretty good pace. I've watched them shake it out at the kayak while still underwater. My guess is with the rod high and the speed of the reel/me, I lose pressure on them and they take advantage of that slack and win.
  2. I'm in Virginia. The trailer is in good condition structurally, I'm sure it needs new bearings. He told me he has 2 more wheels, and a trolling motor to go with it. I would be buying it just to tinker and see what I can make it into, I just wasn't sure what all a job like this would be like. I think the top cap needs to be removed to get to the stringers, transom I think would be ok if what I read is true. I wouldn't want to put more than $1500 into the boat. I would go buy a new tracker to fish on now, just saving more money to put on it first.
  3. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if a 1991 cajun has wood stringers, wood transom or fiberglass? I have worn out google, youtube looking and I think the transom is the composite but im not sure. I have not found any info on what the stringers are made of. I have found a cajun for next to nothing that needs the decks redone, gel coat looks to be gone, 150hp force on the back that he "said" needs the carb rebuilt, he also told me there are no cracks or leaks int he hull just spiderwebs in the glass. Im wondering if its worth getting an restoring? It has been sitting uncovered for what id assume years.
