  1. 4/0 Gamakatsu Offset Round Bend is what I use. EWG will work as well, but I think you hook up better with the Offset Round Bend
  2. I’d throw 16 lb Sniper on it
  3. Fluorocarbon
  4. War Eagle is really the only brand I use. What blades and color depend on the water clarity. Willows for clearer water, slightly stained, or for burning. Indiana and Colorado’s for dirtier water and slower retrieve. I mainly use double willows or the Indiana/Colorado combination
  5. They have a belly slit. Has anyone weighed a skinny dipper? I’d assume they’re around 1/2 oz. You can cast them a mile weightless
  6. The Hammer Craw is an awesome jig trailer of any kind. Bladed jig, casting jig, swim jig, etc. Biffle Bug can be used in similar ways as well, but I usually just Carolina rig them or throw them on a Biffle Hardhead/swing head. Get a couple packs of Rattln’ Crawlers and use them the exact same way. They’re very underrated
  7. Reaction Innovations Little Dipper or Strike King Rage Swimmer. Zoom Split Tails work great too
  8. What setups does everybody use for throwing 6-8 inch hollow belly type swimbaits (like a 7 inch Basstrix) weedless? I’m talking about rigging them up with either an Owner Weighted Beast Hook or the Trokar Magnum Weighted Swimbait Hook (probably around the 6/0-8/0 sizes). I sort of have an idea of what I would throw them on (I was thinking like 7’4-7’6 heavy rod), but would like to know others’ setup for this
  9. 16-20 lb Sunline FC Sniper is all you’ll ever need
  10. I bought the Falcon Cara Head Turner awhile back and I absolutely love this rod. Just bought the Cara Finesse Jig rod and I’m getting more into Falcon Rods. So I’m reaching out to some of you who have been using their rods for awhile and want to know what some of your favorites are and what you mainly use them for Also, can not wait for the new Expert Rods to come out in the Fall
  11. Berkley 10 inch Power Worms are the bomb in the summertime. Zoom Magnum Ultravibe Speed Worms are great also. Fish one of those around grass and you’ll get bit
  12. Does anybody know of a Lake Texoma guide that ISN’T a striper guide? I do not have a boat at the moment and would like to go up there and catch some largemouth and smallmouth, but it seems like it’s impossible to find a guide that isn’t a striper guide
  13. Gotcha. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Tatulas, but just wanted to know if anyone thought highly enough of the Steez XT to pay double what you would for the Tatulas. I’ve tried to look around, but haven’t seen a lot of reviews on the Steez XT
  14. Does anybody own both the Tatulas and Steez XT? How would you compare the two?
  15. I use the 7’2 MH Shimano Zodias Glass and the 7 M Daiwa Tatula XT Glass. Love em both. The Tatula XT’s go for $100. The Zodias might be a little too much as it goes for $200, but it’s a great rod
  16. All my stuff is a mess and very unorganized. What tackle boxes is everybody using? Pictures would be great also
  17. 5.86 lb LMB and was caught on a 3/8 oz White Terminator Pro Series Jig with a Bone White Silver Gene Larew Hammer Craw as the trailer. Swimming it
  18. If you don’t mind me asking, what brand tackle box is this and what size is it? The one for the worms
  19. A 3/0 EWG is perfect for the 4 inch size
  20. Improved clinch. It’s the only knot I’ve ever used
  21. Berkley Havoc Bottom Hopper BioSpawn PlasmaTail Zoom Trick Worm All three will get the job done
