Been fishing ever since I was 5. First fish I ever caught was a 10 inch crappie out of a family friend's pond. I've caught a fair share of bluegill, red ear, crappie, plenty of channel catfish, some average size largemouth in the 2-3 lb range, though I have lost some that undoubtedly were bigger. My biggest fish ever of any species was a 19 lb carp, caught with nightcrawlers, a zebco 33, steel brim hook, splitshot sinker, and weighted orange cylindrical floater. Caught it out of a creek.
