I have a place on the water in S. Florida on the Gulf side. I own Oakley Radar sunglasses and the lens needed to be replaced (years of wear and a couple scratches). I decided to order the prism deep water polarized lenses. Just fyi, I have many Oakley and Maui Jim sunglasses. So I ordered the deep water lens off Amazon. I have to say they very impressive lens. As the other reviewer stated, what they do extremely well is eliminate the sun glare coming off the water. Keep in mind the sun is intense in S. Florida. Now they are not xray lenses that magically allow you to see deeper into the water. They eliminate the glare, provide crisp clarity and more vivid natural colors. They have a blueish mirror like coating on the outside of the lens. These are the best lenses I own. They are also great for everyday use because the clarity is superb. Whether you're boating, driving or just laying around the pool these are excellent lenses. Oakley Radar frames are fantastic (my favorite) for boating since they are wrap around, stay on your head even in moderate winds and very comfortable. I highly recommend the deep water Prism lens and the radar frames for boating, fishing or just wearing around town.
