  1. A lot of new spinner baits have that longer trailer like skirt. I don't like it. I trim the the tail skirt not all the way but I trim it and I'll also still add a trailer hook.
  2. The casitas is better because of the braking system it's the same as the new curado70 the caenan brakes are the same as the curado 200i.
  3. I agree and I would also like to see it happen.
  4. Ice your elbows as soon as you get home from a day on the water icing helps with pain and healing.
  5. centerfugal or avs less backlash.
  6. Well imo there is a significant difference I believe the new vengeance is more of a moderate action as the old one was a more fast action and more sensitive but heavier I think they cut corners on this new model to make it lighter and more appealing but not necessarily better. Abu garcias web site is just trying to sell rods that's what they are in the business of doing however I have fished both rods a great deal and in this case the only thing I don't like about the older model was the graphics the weight didn't bother me a hole lot this newer version is not as strong and feels way more moderate this is why I use it primarily for cranking,I'm probably going to give it away or sell it half of to a buddy of mine. I don't believe they make good 50$ rods anymore I'll be sticking to the more higher end models for now.
  7. Pictures or it didn't happen jk?
  8. To fish a lake several times a week and not catch anything is pretty darn dedicated, I probably would have sworn that lake off. Like Ike says "never give up "
  9. Throw a square bill till your arm falls off your slump will be over soon enuf, I like using rc series 3 or a bomber square A.
  10. I had the old vengeance but I gave it to my buddy and I got the new version silver with black but the old version is better but a little heavier. Can you believe a I have this 49$rod paired up with a curado ? Just temporary till I get a better cranking stick it works well for now.

    Frogs

Can't beat the pad crashers but I still like using the kvd frogs they are very durable ppl complain about the hook ups but some minor modifications will help, first remove the rattle inside the bait so it collapses easier second bend the hooks up just slightly and you got a great frog, the details on them are really nice.
  12. Those are really good rods they hold up to a beating and surprisingly sensitive.
  13. I have been able to get away with up to 12 pound test of Cx premium on a 2500 because of the thin diameter of that certain line that pline cx is great line for spinning reels!
  14. I use snaps for poppers if I can, a lot of popper chuggers spitting baits don't have split rings and a lot of them are a little difficult to put a snap on so most of the time I tie directly to the bait.
  15. The older bags did have issues but the new bags are probably the best bank fishing bags to have, what other bag will hold three 3700s and one 3600 with room for about 25+ bags of plastics and two rods ?
  16. Yum dingers are cool tho, I always buy a pack or when I go to Walmart. Yammotos are expensive!
  17. Are you talking about tw bag?
  18. I'm gonna keep this short yammotos are better ! Way better.
  19. Last time I went fishing about three weeks ago I couldn't catch em on nothing on any fast moving baits, but a yum dinger rigged wacky on a circle hook did the job and I avoided the skunk.
  20. I like using a 2/0 gama circle hook.
  21. I recommended that you ice your shoulder after a day on the water it will help it heal and relieve pain I've dislocated both my shoulders so I know what your feeling also see a chiropractor first then see a orthopedic surgeon if need be. I fish three or more times a month and I'm fine you'll recover your career is not over.
  22. Not a bad bag for an upsidedown tackle backpack.
