  1. I like 6'6 to its more accurate. You can always get it in mh or go 6'8 mh that matches well?
  2. Ok so the bottom line is carbon fiber is the stronger blank graphite which is the exact same thing just heated at a higher temperature is weaker so now the question remains which one is more sensitive? Nah crusty just a tackle junky
  3. Depends what you are using it for? But i would go medium.
  4. I can't believe you tried it 4 times till you finally gave up on it:/ I think I would have learned the first time .
  5. Just found a video on the triads I've been really impressed with the blanks on my ghost I been waiting for something else to come out with better guides than the ghost and at the 150 or less price point I was thinking about the Terex Series but I was waiting thinking it was the terex series that was getting updated so I was holding off.
  6. deleted
  7. Ok well which do you prefer?
  8. I heard a rumor that duckett will be coming out with something new this year or an upgrade on one of their series of rods has anyone heard this? Is this true?
  9. Dump the abu go with something different, there is a very thin line with abu and lews imo since a lot of parts are the same and they are made in the same factory's. Phluger as mentioned above makes solid quality products. I like shimano and that's what I prefer but like bluebasser said "don't be afraid to think outside the box"
  10. I would like to try some carp that is well prepared it doesn't sound so bad. I have a friend who's dad makes a soup out of it with potatoes and stuff and he swears it's really good.
  11. So what I'm getting from this article is carbon fiber is stronger although it being graphite the temperature at which carbon fibers are made make it a stronger material and graphite when form at a higher temperature becomes easier to break? I'm still scratching my head. So I guess carbon fiber would be the stronger blank more superior to graphite which is heated at a higher temp making more prone to break?
  12. Just get a shimano problem solve !
  13. It's theses dang teenagers with there rock and roll and long hair. Don't have no respect I tell you.
  14. They are made of the same components according to this article however graphite breaking is easyer than carbon fiber which is stronger I'm still confused?
  15. I will never eat another farm pond fish again.
  16. I do go to my local tackle shop during the colder months I buy hooks and power bait live bait and the occasional crank bait I spend my money there rather than the big retailers i have picked up a few rods and reels in the past but I will make my big purchases online. I do try to support the old mom and pop shops but they are a dying breed it's sad but it's the way it is.
  17. I have never bought a rod over 80$ at a sports/tackle shop I've always purchased online the prices are better and better selection also if you don't like it return it for a refund or exchange. I usually shop tw I'm very picky and I have made many exchanges over the years if I don't like it once it's in my hand never had a problem it's more convenient for me.
  18. I've had my eye on those new nusance rods but I passed because I thought they would just be a nuisance.
  19. Mainly 4/0 or 3/0 EWG for a weightless creature baits. I don't believe a weightless craw is highly ignored I've thrown countless rage craws weightless and have had plenty success.
  20. i would definitely have a chatter bait tied on if your able to fish it threw the grass.
  21. I hear once you pass threw those mine fields and the barb wire fencing there are some hogs in those ponds. It's worth it for some good bass fishing you just won't ever be able to come back.
