  1. I’m not sure which one I’m going to get it’s a toss up with the ss117 or the top water 106, not going to get a PDL I was on the phone with them yesterday it’s pretty expensive but hoping to order it by the end of the month. My brother has a boat but he’s an ass so I want my own rig to get on the water, right now I’m bank fishing. I drive a car so I’m car topping I need something small but good. I’m 5’9 at 195 pounds. I want a stable affordable kayak.
  2. Anyone ordered from ack and if so did you order all your accessories threw them as well or did you go threw a cheaper alternative for example the paddles ? Or a crate? Going to be ordering a kayak from them soon.
  3. Maybe not improve the hookset but probably give it more reason to strike it.
  4. I’m partial to the KVD frog.
  5. I like using scents they work, I don’t always use them but they work. Knowing this do you add a scent to your hard baits?
  6. I like the kvd frog it’s not the best frog but it’s a good frog very durable and the skirt isn’t all cheapy like The booyah pad crasher. Only problem is it doesn’t collapse as well as the pad crasher. But it’s very durable.
  7. You might not need floro for the specific purposes that you will be applying it for, however if you feel like you want to try it , try it! Get some red lable 12-15 pound and give it a go your gonna have to try it out eventually for bottom baits or whatever else you want to apply it to.

    Rust

For some reason the hooks on the original chatter baits seem to be very susceptible to rust in my experience with them. Remove the wet trailers when in the box and use z rust or bull frog rust inhibitors.
  9. I haven’t tried them and I don’t think I will they seem a bit gimmicky.
  10. Care to explain your reasoning behind your opinion? I’ve never used them personally. I use the original zoom super fluke and have used caffeine shads which are totally different than flukes imo.
  11. Welcome to the forums!!! Duckett ghost 6’10 is a great rod, also a diawa fuego or a shimano slx best 100 reels on the market rite now.
  12. All the Powell rods have plenty of feel for jigs imo.
  13. I personally wouldn’t use spinning gear with 1/4 ounce or higher. I would use spinning gear for anything lighter than that, those little micro fineness jigs 3/16,1/8,1/16 spinning gear is optimal.
  14. Those fish are gorgeous
  15. Oh my GAWSH!!! That’s insane!
  16. You know I’ve never had much luck on a spinnerbait in the winter but I usually don’t fish December anyhow shadraps and 75X seem to do well till end of November then I target stalked trout or striper.
  17. It does slow down considerably, for that three months or so.
  18. Making a hard bait box for winter this box is excluding jigs they have their own box and I will be pairing them with chunk trailers that I’ve never used I’ve always used kicking flapping style trailers, but I’ve got most things I think ? what am I missing? I got jerk baits, lipless cranks, shad raps, wiggle warts, 75x’s little John 50s what’s missing let me know how you guys are prepping your hard baits for winter assuming you’re water doesn’t freeze over. You guys can also add any soft plastic techniques into the mix I usually stop fishing in December and target other species till March but this year I’m dedicated to fish for bass all year so pls feel free to add any advice.
  19. These fluke post have been popping up everyday it seems ? my advice to make it simple fish it like a t rigged stick bait. Super flukes are my favorite.
