  1. I just got the new Powell endurance glass composite 610 medium moderate fast for square bills I’m really happy with it so sensitive for a composite i can feel every little tic tic and can tell when I’m hung up on grass but yet it’s got enough tip to rip them out of grass but yet still extremely forgiving to keep those trebles pinned I highly recommend it. You’ll love this series of cranking rods.
  2. OMG THE CURADO K DC?
  3. Hair jigs can be utilized all year and some say they are the best type of jigs to use. @WRB is very informed on the subject of hair jigs I believe he cought some of his biggest triple didgit bass on a hair jig.
  4. @Dens228 Although the pad crasher is a good frog I wouldn’t say it’s very durable and the squirts are pretty cheapy. You can’t be it for the price but there are a lot of good quality frogs out there better than the pad crasher worth paying more.
  5. Yup I was placing the order yesterday and their out of stock, bummer I need it now!
  6. I haven’t tried the movement bait but I have some 75X squarebills and they work in cold water. I also have the crush 50s I notice they run shallower than rated also they need some tuning here and there straight out the box. Also I don’t see much of a difference in the paint jobs than the 6 dollar lucky craft square bills, why they charge 9 bucks for a square bill doesn’t add up to me in my opinion.
  7. I been using Harry’s for the past week and I’m not very impressed with the product to be honest...I may need to get used to the blades but I’m considering going back to some of the more expensive brands. I’m going to give it some time I’ll probably get used to them, I have no choice I can’t let the refills go to waste. I kinda did the math, and really your only saving like ten bucks on refills. And I’m definitely not going with the dollar shave club because I heard they are pretty much the same. Live and learn I guess?
  8. Trey harpel did a decent review on this frog

  12. Shimano baitcasters diawa spinning reels Rods- st croix powell duckett shimano
  13. That’s strange ? I have had it for three years and a buddy of mine even backed up into it with his truck and dragged it a for a wile bent my 3700 boxes but the bag is still in good condition.
  14. Yeah I think it’ll work ?
  15. Green pumpkin is probably the best color to start with.
  16. Casitas, you can also upgrade it with an mgl spool you can get on eBay.
  17. Curado k is a bit to much reel for a medium action rod might want to go medium heavy I understand that you like the reel because it castes extremely light lures and Shimano reels have always been known for that. If you absolutely must go medium I think you should probably go with a mojo 68 medium fast or even extra fast you’ll be able to throw Ned rigs quite nicely on either one of these set ups. If you do decide to go medium heavy try the mojo 7 medium heavy moderate fast you can do everything on this rod.

    NED Rig

And I forgot to mention it works. I would like to say solid 4 but I guess you could say it’s pushing 4.

    NED Rig

I been fishing the big TRD on a 2/0 ewg, light bullet weight loosely pegged. Keeping it loosely pegged allows it to stand up perfectly it works great and it’s weedless. Just thought I’d share?
  21. Depends on what type of reel your talking about.
  22. Found one teckal is coming out with a new frog!
  23. I occasionally swap my hooks to a better quality hook same size but I know some ppl swap to a bigger size short shank ewg trebles I wonder if it affects the Buoyancy of the baits?
