  1. I like the KVD frogs but the terminators walk extremely easy.
  2. Senko seems to have a better action but I have probably cought an equal amount of fish on the dingers and probably use them more often. I just recently picked up a pack of the max scent stick bait but didn’t have any luck.
  3. Your just missing a brake pad, you can a pack for a few bucks on line. Those brakes click up and down I would click them all on or up till you get the hang casting and adjust the tension knob. That’s actually a very good braking system. Put a drop of oil on all the bearings also. Look for a reel repair guy around ask local tackle shops for that repair should only cost you 15 bucks? Hopefully. Keep us posted! And welcome to bass resource!
  4. LAWL !!!! It’s all in the thumb bro it’s not that complicated.
  5. Even hotter today
  6. I think you should be asking that to yourself ? You only seem to understand magnetic brakes.
  7. Sounds like user error to me.
  8. I have been very interested in maybe preordering the diawa 100 give it a try? Why not ? I like the price point and shimano has nothing worth really trying except the for the SLX which has me less interested by the day. If only the casitas has an aluminum frame, now that would be worth it. I’d pay 150 bucks for that all day. Shimano won’t do it though because it will hurt the sales of the curado k. I presume their will be a citica k in the works very soon.
  9. I’ve never had problems casting light baits into the wind with any of my shimanos ever as a matter of fact it’s the main reason I only have shimano reels.
  10. Tw list the preorders for October
  11. And it would win best of show!?
  12. Oh I believe they use the same stuff we use bought off the shelf no doubt, I also believe that the top pros probably the top 5 percent do and are able to get some of their rods customized to a specific standard that may not be available in their standard line up. I’m talking rods not reels. You can’t tell me that if KVD ask for a 6’9, 1/2 rod with a 17, 1/2 handle for whatever the reason he’d want that ?? You can’t tell me they wouldnt do it for him.
  13. KVD is a freaking legend his rods are customized to his standards without a doubt.
  14. its getting pretty dang hot! The map is for today’s heat! This is live for 7:30 pm central time
  15. I have no answer for you unfortunately but those are some sweet looking baits!
  16. I was able to fit a few more square bills in this bass mafia casket 3700 individually? Like 5 more than my phlambue box? As for the longevity of the box we’ll probably not as strong as a Plano but it will work?
  17. Peacock/TO Chartuse/cowboy gill/TO gill. In order
  18. Chronarc G or Curado k will throw anything. Yes I’m incapable of lifting more than 5 ozs ?
  19. Probably weighs two pounds, I’m sure it’s a solid reel though.
  20. Welcome to the forums
  21. I conquer theses rods I personally wouldn’t use them for cranking.
  22. About 145 on eBay Well I happened to have owned two one I sold and one I’ve had for years the rods are very sensitive and they are strong well worth the price! I hear a lot of hate can’t understand why I never had a problem with micro guides ever, these rods out perform my mojos that are way more subject to snapping but they have warranty which is a great for 5 years of peace of mind, and the mojos are not $100 rods, You can put any $100 rod up against a $100 duckett and I would pick the duckett every time. My opinion and my two cents.
  23. Yeah the top guys for sure not the majority.
  24. I love the ghost series rods I’ve had one since 2014 I have a chronarc on mine but mine is a medium Fast 610 I use mine for soft plastic jerkbaits and senkos. I would pair a mh with a curado k and use if for everything except cranking you could even throw a frog on it theses rods are tuff!!
