  1. Cotton Cordell super spot is my go to.
  2. Well the reason I say this is because the braking system on the casitas is basically what is in the k or the 70 and it’s compatible with an mgl spool so it wouldn’t make sense for shimano to make it an aluminum frame and charge 100 buck because then it would cut into their sales of their other products in the higher end. This is my theory and it makes a lot of sense I believe.
  3. I have never experienced this I’ve never heard teeth meshing or any vibration? I pulled in a number of quality fish here in California let me tell you in the 3 to 6 pound size with that specific reel with absolutely no problem whatsoever and it was an absolute pleasure to fish with aside from some play in the handle and for it being a plastic reel it has held up very good in my opinion. I’m not calling you a liar Really im not I believe you believe this but I just have a different experience with the reel and you seem to have a history of being very bias diawa of course being your favorite brand.
  4. If the casitas had an aluminum frame then Their would be no need for an slx but then of course the casitas price would have to be at least 200$.
  5. @BaitFinesse doesn’t like shimano it’s pretty evident in a lot of his post. Yeah I agree not geary at all.
  6. I’m not sure if you’re saying I said it was Geary but I never did say that I said it’s clunky on the retrieve and it is I still have one and I still use it all the time I really like it! But it is clunky on the retrieve in other words what I’m trying to say is the handle has a lot of play in it. And I also never said it was a bad reel. It’s a kick ass little reel actually but I do believe the slx will be a much more solid reel.
  7. Diawa Lt series Take that Sedona back and get the Diawa legalis lt, is my recommendation those sedonas are smooth but wobble on a fast retrieve I had one and sold it on Craigslist. Their not bad reels if you take good care of them very good care.
  8. Alright fair enuf I’ll let you know how it turns out. See what happens?
  9. Pics or it didn’t happen
  10. I seen you catch theses on your YouTube channel I think? You also got a five pounder on a jig? I think not sure but I’m pretty sure.
  11. Ok so let’s say I would try one of theses nameless reels which one do you believe to be their best! Because nothing they have intrigues me?
  12. Retracted
  13. Powell mistake exclusive on the Powell website is 79$
  14. 200 yards of red label is only ten bucks ? At my Walmart?
  15. Nah I’m just triggering some diawa fanatics I’m actually really interested in trying out some diawa baitcasters.
  16. Oh that’s all normal for a diawa bro that’s how they perform. Don’t worry about it. It’s a diawa ...
  17. Beautiful dog.
  18. Theirs a bunch at Home Depot I never tried them but when I run out of u40 I might they do the same thing problem is they might leave a stain but I don’t care?
  19. Try throwing some pond Magic’s in 3/16 or war eagle fineness spinner baits you’ll gain confidence in them with those smaller baits I remember when I first started throwing spinner baits I was thinking why the heck would a fish bite on this awkward looking thing? But I started throwing pond Magic’s in farm ponds and I got like 30 fish in two hours they were dinks but I became hooked on them after that.
  20. Speed traps those are a must have in the spring and fall.
  21. Casitas is a sweet reel but it’s a bit clunky on the retrieve it’s not horrible but it’s not buttery smooth, cast very well and dials in pretty easy but I would definitely recommend the slx it’s just a solid reel and you get more for the money.
  22. I agree but I feel it’s the marketing that gets me personally the nice looking paint jobs the shiny new baits! this makes it difficult to stop collecting lures and tackle. It really is an addiction. A bad habit. You don’t need every color baby minus or every color s crank or every new shiny fancy Japanese topwater but something tells you get it!!! Add it to the collection because after a wile it no longer becomes tackle it truly becomes a collection because tackle is used like a tool for different situations but collecting just sits there looking pretty As your own personal novelty item, But I digress. Since I seemed to have gotten completely gotten of course let me adress the topic. Personally I only take a few day boxes with me or if I’m going to the pond a pack of hooks and two bags of soft plastics in my back pocket.
  23. Speed trap no doubt!!!! Gotta have em!!!
