  1. Sorry, forgot to mention that. I am going to use medium heavy fast action for both. The black max will be used with a 7' rod while the sahara will be a 6'6 rod. For the spinning rod I will be using it for mostly finessing and light baits. The baitcaster will be used for geting the bait of far and for heavier baits. Thanks again!
  2. I have a Shimano Sahara 3000 and an Abu Garcia Black max. I was wondering what y'all thought was the best # line for them. I don't know if I should use one pound for both or use two different pounds becuase one is a spinning and one is a baitcaster. Thanks!
  3. Thanks so much! Very informative!!!
  4. I am about to buy some braid and wanted to know what y'all think the best company is. Thanks!
  5. I am looking to buy my first baitcaster combo and I want to know what y'all think is the best under $150. I do mostly saltwater and some freshwater. Thanks!
  6. I have a shimano Sahara 3000 and want braided line, but don't know what lbs line to use. I mostly do inshore saltwater and freshwater fishing. Thanks!
  7. I want to know what y'alls favorite bait caster setup is. I am looking for a versatile setup but I mostly do saltwater fishing and little fresh. Thanks!
  8. I have a spinning reel and currently do all saltwater and little freshwater fishing. I was wondering if it is worth it to invest money into buying a bait-casting reel. Also, I want to know how you can use the bait-casting reel differently than a spinning reel. I am new to fishing so i am still trying to get used to everything. Thanks!
