TRUTH!!I have done better throwing the 130 whopper plopper for smallies than the 90s...within reason size don't matter so many variables play into the equation
deedfirst time was on a bass tracker with my dad and papaw (both winning local tournament fishers) tied me on a buzzbait that I ended up hooking my grandfather in the cheek with...my grandfather has since passed but my dad will remind most days on the boat...
Agreed...casting accuracy,Timing, patience, and knowledge/understanding of fish are some of the "skills" required to catch the big ones or lots of good ones..but my tip is more along lines of advice take the chance to throw to the tight spots don't fear getting hung..gotta risk it to get the biscuit!!
always fished boats and banks...went wading a good river the other day...looking for tips like how far to stay from the cover I'm throwing in..shorter steps as opposed to longer strides...completely clueless any help would be appreciated
had at least a 6 on and in wv that's a hog..was definitely my p.b and instead of waiting for my net guy I I arrogantly said "I gooooot it" followed by an overly aggressive yank to the boat and lost her in the slack...tears everywhere!!
