  1. @Darth-Baiter I enjoy Greg Blanchards videos from there, some big fish out there for sure.
  2. Welcome to Bass Resource.
  3. @Dangerfield I havent used the larger size TRD but figured Id give them a try for the price.
  4. Hoping she has a full and speedy recovery.
  5. I use the built in weather app on iPhone if I just want to know about the weather, it is by the weather channel. If it involves fishing I also use a pro version of a solunar calendar.
  6. I kayak fish and have been alone 99% of the time.
  7. But all my current hook stash has barbs. Ive got a set of side cutters I keep on my yak, these bolt cutters just look like they don't play around!
  8. I forget Im wearing my NRS Chinook, it has been great for close to 4 years now and I got it new for $60. I just bought a Stohlquist Fisherman that's pretty nice as well, it was $64 on clearance.
  9. I didn't even realize they made mini-bolt cutters.I need a pair of them for my kayak. My biggest fear is somehow getting my right hand hooked and since my left hand only partially works I wouldn't be able to cut myself free. Is there a decent pair that's budget priced?
  10. TN weather is out of control!
  11. My second order from Tackle Supply Depot came in, all of this for $63.xx shipped!
  12. I wear mine 100% of the time while on the water, no exceptions. Having said that, its super comfortable and its technically another tool for me to utilize while fishing. I have a whistle attached to small tether that also holds my keys in a small chest pocket.I keep my wallet in another, my cell phone tethered to the PFD and in another pocket. I have some hemostats tethered on the outside and attached at the top a boomerang braid cutter. So worst case scenario is I fall out and my kayak is swept away I still have ID, phone and my keys on me regardless. Id feel lost without my Chinook!
  13. @Zcoker I installed the sidekick on my Native not long ago, the octagon pcs at the end of the legs are garbage! They are held on by roll pins of all things and mine have already started to bend. Im not happy considering it was $250.
  14. Welcome to Bass Resource!
  15. @Pogues2300 What kind of kayak do you have?
  16. I recently added landing gear on my Native and this is my biggest fear with using them. As much a these kayaks cost there has to be a better way. I have the C-tug as well.
  17. I get right at 3.5 mph on my Native Slayer Propel 10. Im pretty sure even a Hobie isn't too much faster.
  18. Welcome to bass resource!
  19. So sorry to hear this, what a tragedy.
  20. Welcome to Bass Resource!
  21. @BassSteve Peacock bass is on my bucket list, I just wanna catch 1 with some size to it!
  22. Got the first order from Tackle Supply Depot, all of this was $65 shipped. Although Im grateful for the good deals I hate to see any American business have to close its doors.
  23. I take Atorvastatin for chloresterol and Losartan for the BP,Ive also had a stroke due to a head injury. The biggest thing I changed was salt, I don't add salt to anything I eat. Its crazy after cutting it out that foods I thought needed salt now I think are too salty. My Dr initially put me on Lisinopril but it swelled my legs and ankles. I guess it caused me to retain water, it didn't hurt but it freaked me out.
  24. You just have to look through it all, they still had soft plastics and some crank baits.
