  1. Junger's post in Ninja Trolling Motor Grass Blade: Experience & Opinions? was marked as the answer
I had two on my older model Ultrex and it worked fine in really thick hydrilla, but with one caveat. I had to trim the TM lower unit just below the water line, otherwise the hydrilla would hang and build up where the shaft meets the lower unit. If that happened the only way to remove them would be manually, or a grass chopper shaft type blade like: https://a.co/d/5ZiolyQ

But the NGB worked great when keeping the TM trimmed up.
  2. Junger's post in Helix 10 G3N Side Imaging is dark, DI/2D is fine was marked as the answer
So it ended up being a cable that hooks up to the Helix G3N. From the Ultrex built-in transducer, it goes into the Ultrex control head where it has a connection to an extension cable. This cable then goes to the Helix G3N, but with another adapter cable for the Helix. MK replaced the whole lower unit, but that didn't fix the image, but they sent me the two cables which I replaced myself and it now works. Not sure which one of the two cables was damaged, both look good outside with no crimps and the connectors looked good too. The warranty department at MK is great to deal with.
  3. Junger's post in Bank fishing rod recommendation for Curado 150 MGL was marked as the answer
Are you casting in tight spots? If so, you'll be able to make more accurate/better casts in tight spots along the bank with a shorter rod. When bank fishing, I'm casting under overhanging branches, in between thick brush, making backhand casts and more, and it's a lot easier with a 6'6 rod, than a 7'3 rod. If you're in that spot, and you want a shorter do it all rod, check out the Gloomis IMX MBR 783C.
