  1. Oh god speaker building components are out of control. Everything is gone and used seams to be double.
  2. Seems like a lot of the rods are out of stock, are they coming out with a new model or is this covid related? I think I saw a new M1 rod? I can wait to buy my rods.
  3. Why don't people use a fastach clip. Can get them pretty tiny and the lures do not come off. I don't use them for everything but it helps to keep lures in the water.
  4. So idk why this would be a problem. Likely the blank is made overseas. A lot of things are like this and simply the better product is from another country. That's how they started Yeti. It would be nice to hear that they are assembled here however. I'm really digging this brand
  5. Interesting, who is this Phenix brand? I looked up some reviews but most seem to be from 2018, are the 13 fishing a safer bet?
  6. Hi I'm wondering what anybody knows about these rods? I was looking at St Croix rods, the premiere is about the range I want to be in. However the split grip model from Cabela's and Bass pro shops is only a couple dollars more and has a nicer look to it. However I've invested in a rod model from Cabela's before and ended up burned when they shortly discontinued them. I also can't seem to find a lot of I also can't seem to find a lot of info on the St Croix premiere either and the stock is spotty. I know it's a somewhat older rod I'm wondering if they are going to get replaced with a newer version? I want to buy four rods but not necessarily all at once and it is nice to know that you can replace one of something happens, yes it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when all of my s*** matches
  7. Well that's really infuriating. Especially when they come out with a new line of Shimano sedonas that these match perfectly with. I know there's no reason your baitcasters have to match your spinning reels. I still tend to get a little ocd about silly details like that sometimes.
  8. I see it on clearance, now sold out at Cabela's. On sale everywhere.
  9. Cool cause it’s about 20$ less on sale
  10. So I already have 2 Ardent Finess spinners so my OCD says elite but I can get a better deal on the 100 so my wallet says 100?
  11. Wow you nailed the Norman thin N. Can’t really line up the other but it’s not terribly important to know the actual brand. After looking most of them up it seems I did better then ok on the haul. Gave me a good assortment to start with. Really covered a lot. One last pic of the other
  12. Thanks for the info
  13. Thanks I’ll have to check those out and see if it’s one of them. I should add the first bay has flat sides and I believe something inside that rattles or clunks. I’m more interested in what the first one is then the other.
  14. Hi. Bought a small lot of crankbaits and have 2 left that I haven’t identified yet. Just curious if someone recognizes them. Second one seems hand painted but I’m not expireinced enough to tell.
  15. Thanks Tom this is good info. Thanks all for the info. I will fill out my bio today. I'm in CT. I am buying a canoe but bank fish for now. I have a medium spinning 6'6" 2 piece in my trunk which I just set up for Ned rigs. I also just purchased a set of three rods on a great sale. A 7' medium spin (3000 reel) and 2 casting. A 7' medium and a 7'6" med/heavy. I do not own any bait casters yet though. I have senkos, a chatter bait and some spinners. Ordered some more cranks, jigs, spinners ect. Have a frog. No straight up spoons or Under spins. I'm also about to make an order for a bunch of plastics, senkos, tubes and creature baits from a reputable guy. He's going to put together a variety of effective lures. And more. I've been doing things on the cheap but feel like I've got some real quality stuff in the process. I will I'll try to fish "structure". I believe I know what that means but I'm going to google that and read up. My biggest enemy so far has been trees. Finding open banks in my area is a challenge so far.
  16. Lol ?. I can just imagine whipping that puppy out. That's ok I'm learning a lot but there's a lot to learn. This morning I was frustrated cause I had scoped out a great spot, know fish, little pressure. My first trip there (Saturday) just to take a look there was some green growth floating on the near side. Cast a frog for like 10 mins and came up with a game plan for Monday morning after work. Showed up Monday and the entire reservoir was covered in green. I legit had nothing heavy enough to even break through it. No clue what I should have been doing because I had never researched those conditions. Should have just gone somewhere else instead of getting frustrated for an hour and leaving. At least I walked the perimeter and know the lay of the land now I guess.
  17. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a list our guide, sort of like a quick reference as to what lures are for what? Which fish live where, or where do fish live in a pond or a river? I know a lot of this is geographical and opinion but some sort of a loose reference chart would be helpful for beginners. It's hard when you're excited and you just wanna get out there to pick up a lure and remember hey this is for early spring, or this goes on the bait caster.I know there's endless info out there. I've been watching videos and trying out everything I can and adding what I can. Sometimes however I get to a new spot with limited time and am like wait what should I do?
