  1. I have a 1988 pro 17 and I think it is 1 1/16" (not positive, but I know its not 1")
  2. I was just at Gander Mountain and it was clearanced to $5-7.
  3. I am fairly new to these baits, and have been using my frog rod, a daiwa L&T. I am sure there is much better out there, but I have no complaints.
  4. I am going to be docked on the water far from an electrical source. How long is too long to run an extension cord to my batteries? (amp loss?) Thanks, Brandon
  5. I like the money minnow. I've only used it twice, but have done well catching above average Largemouth and Smallmouth. They absoulutely crush this bait. Also have the bass magic, but haven't tried them yet. Brandon
  6. I like mine. I also use it for small swimbaits like the money minnow. Works well. Brandon
  7. try a 50A circuit breaker. Had this happen when I first bought my boat. It had a 54lb motorguide and a 30A fuse. Fried fuses everytime I put it on high.
  8. I have 3 co-matrix. First one I like alot, other two not so much. The second 2 have a different hook keeper than the first, which often catches the line and chews it up. This is especially true on the spinning rod. If it wasn't for this I would own more, as I think it is a good rod for the price. I just don't think that I should have to cut parts off of my rod to have them perform right.
  9. Hate it, hate it, hate it. But I'm sure others may like it.
  10. I have one and have no complaints. I think its a good rod for the money. It does have a retractable butt section that makes it about 6'
  11. Thanks for your help, just figured it out. Hose broke off at the fitting inside the tank. Brandon
  12. When I prime the bulb, the line fills with air but no gas. 6gal tank, 35hp Merc. Do I need a new tank? Is there some sort of sending unit that can be replaced? Or could the problem be something different? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brandon
  13. Just purchased a 7.1 geared reel but am uncertain what techniques it is best suited for. Was thinking of putting it on my frog rod or rattrap rod, not really sure. Thanks, Brandon
  14. Been using airrus co-matrixes for 2 years, no complaints, great warranty
  15. I have a 17ft tracker and a motorguide tour 82. Was thinking about 2 group 27 batteries. Would this be sufficient? What kind of run time could I expect from these, on average? Thanks, Brandon
  16. Haven't used either of these rods however, did just purchase a TD light & tough frog rod ( 7'4'' H). Can't make a judgement on how well it fishes, but I think it will be a good rod. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the weight of the Light & Tough. It's definitely a lightweight rod.
  17. 12 lb. Sufix siege Original Spiderwire (Haven't experimented enough with different braids yet)
  18. I have a 1988 tracker tx17 w/35 hp merc. I recently took possession of a 24v 82lb motorguide. How much would the added weight of the new motor and extra battery slow me down? Is there any reason I shouldn't install it on my boat? Thanks, Brandon
