  1. Those duo realis g fix looks amazing ! Ahhh stay away bait monkey
  2. Wow talk about a slab of crappie ! That guy is huge
  3. Yeah I’m hoping my main lake I fish clears up. It’s small only about 100 acres but the fishing is great until now. It always turns to mud brown around this time .. plus it has been raining everyday which doesn’t help
  4. I have the vision 110 in the kohoku reaction. Haven’t used it yet but looks good
  5. Thanks for the advice. We get some stain in early fall
  6. So I’m guessing tackle warehouse doesn’t have it .. I like it though I’ll hsve to take a look next time I get some baits
  7. Oh jeez ! Those look good! Rly like the color of the top one what is it?
  8. I hope you catch some. I went out this morning and managed two on the megabass pumpkinseed color. Started getting to windy to fish in the canoe after awhile but it was fun!
  9. Hoping to try them out soon, I usually only used rapala or megabass but wanted to expand to others. Can’t wait to try them for some big greenies or bronzebacks
  10. Lol I love this! I actually saw your review on the KVDs on tackle warehouse and had to get a couple. They obviously work I have always had better times esrly spring or late fall. Once summer gets here there is tons and tons of weeds and veggies where I fish. Plus I like doing other techniques in the summer, but roughly 38-70 degree temps I would say
  11. Always hahha such a guilty pleasure . I’m pretty much done for the season as far as buying until Black Friday. I have all the rods I need and baits that work around here. Was my last true setup and glad I got it
  12. Heck yeah man ! They usually hit it like a tank! Or right as it’s pasused and you go to twitch again and just feel like hard hit! One of my favorites. Besides topwater of course.. just wish this rain would go away :(
  13. Decided to get a designated jerkbait rod and some for sure fishing catching baits. I have a few more on backorder sadly the vision 110 trout ! And the jackall rersnge in the elegy bone color and blue
  14. Family and loved ones first, only get one of those and it’s time you can’t ever get. And @clayton86 yeah I haven’t gone to Chautauqua lake in awhile but haven’t heard to much from it. And Barcelona is always good for walleye
  15. @Burrows I called and talk to 3 people today, dobyns , alpha angler , and Matt from Irod and went with the irod geneisis 2 it’s a 7 ft mh rod for jerkbaits. It’s a 703c to be exact. He said it has more parabolic bend and soft tip. But it’s not a broomstick. And I want a MH as the fish I fight are hard fighting and around a lot of submerged grass. I’m going to try the MH and if it is to stiff I’ll drop down to a medoum Same as a lot of the bites are on the pause and if you don’t feel it sometimes they won’t hook themselves and you lose a fish.
  16. How has the fishing been for you? With all this rain we have been getting. Same with @Dwight Hottle fishing been ok? My lakes have turned and the water is nasty brown and fishing slowed
  17. Gundog is right. If the body of water has public access then yes the water itself is public. It’s not like someone let’s say owns 50 acres of land and put a pond on it. If you access it by public waters then the whole waterway is public. I would fish it but I wouldn’t make it a habit to purposely go to the posted areas and just pitch almost onto the owners property but yes it’s legal. There is also something called a riparian law but it doesn’t look like this is the case in your situation
  18. Hello and welcome
  19. Wondering if anyone from western Ny area is on here maybe Chautauqua county, Erie county or Cattaraugus county? I feel like I’m the only one
  20. When it gets cold I usually wear the following a under armor or some type of long sleeve warm body shirt, and a sweater , I’ll throw on a cold weather hoodie. I’ll use under armor cold weather water resistant sweat pants and warm socks with a pair of boots. Throw on some bibs and your good to go
  21. Ok so this was just the lake turning over and should clear up in time
  22. I hope so bc it has great fishing all season until this and @Mjmj the lake is only 16 ft deep with a average of about 7. I try using spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Dark jigs etc all the typical muddy water baits but the only thing that eats is dinks. And it’s very few.
  23. I have this lake I fish and during spring and summer it is really clear like 5 ft visibility - maybe 7 ft. But every September - October it turns a nasty brown and fishing is horrible. I usually end fishing season in October but this year I wanna fish till ice over. Wondering if the water clears back up as it gets colder out ? Anyone in the north east experience this
  24. Hello and welcome
  25. THere we go! I know you catch soem giant smallies ! I think I saw this rod posted before but couldn’t find it again. How does it hold as far as keeping them pinned but not tearing out hooks? It looks like you were pulling pretty hard
