Hello All - I have a Daiawa RG3000H-AB that I got for free with a purchase I made on Tackle Direct. My question to all of you is what rod should I pair it with? I primarily fish for Bass and recently have been getting into Salt Water, but from my research this will not do well with Salt. Below I have included what I currently have as far as rods and reels for freshwater and saltwater, what do you think would be a good addition? Looking to spend $200 at most, but if it is worth it could go a little over. Freshwater Gear: · Daiwa Tatula SV TW 7.3 on a Dobyns Sierra Series SA 703 C · Pfleuger Supreme XT 30 on a Fenwick HMG 6’6” Medium Fast · Pfleuger Supreme XT 25 on a Field & Stream Tec-Lite 6’ Ultra Light Saltwater Gear: · Daiwa Ballistic LT4000D-C on a St. Croix Mojo Inshore 7’ Medium Heavy · ODM DNA 10’ Surf Rod, I ordered a Tsunami SaltX 6000 to pair with this, but still waiting on delivery Open to opinions on a comparable reel to order at this point

Hello guys, Hope everyone had a great winter and is ready for a great upcoming fishing season!!!! I am looking for a new ultra-light rod and reel. I love my current Pleuger Supreme Xt and was able to find a 25 series for a reasonable price and was wondering if any of you guys would recommend a G-Loomis Trout Panfish series rod to pair with it. Not sure if I want a 1 piece or 2 piece, but willing to pay for whatever as this will be my bonus present to myself. Thanks in advance for any and all help overall looking to use it as an all around rod for smaller species and when I want to have some fun with ultra-light fishing which I do enjoy.

So I ordered fireline fire green braid not realizing it was bright green, but what is everyone's thoughts on using this?

Hello all, I recently purchased 3 packs of 3" Keitech easy shiners, not realizing how small they were haha. What are your guys' thoughts, return them and order larger ones or are these worth keeping? What would you recommend rigging them with? Thanks!

Any suggestion for a reel to pair with it?

I am looking to make the transition into the world of baitcasting. I currently own an ultra light 6' rod with a light weight Pfleuger reel and then a 6'6" Fenwick HMG paired with a Pfleuger Supreme XT spinning reel. I love both and they both have their place out on the water, but at times I need/want something else haha. I am looking to spend $300 on a new rod and reel, but I am willing to spend a little more if it is worth it haha. Looking for a 7 footer all around rod and reel. I have been looking at a bunch of different rods including the St. Croix Mojo Bass, Dobyn's Fury and the Lew's Custom Speed. Not particularly attached to any of them at this point, but never realized how specific these rods get, no wonder guys have ten.......wish I could afford. I mainly do my fishing from the shoreline and I like to hit cranks, jigs, plastics, pretty much a little of everything. Not sure where this leaves me, but more than happy to hear your guys' suggestions, as I am a little overwhelmed with the selection right now. Thanks in advance!
